Grier is trying to get over Boaz after he announces his engagement to another woman and since vampire assassins are trying to kill her at every turn it makes it a little easier to forget about him. As she spends more time with Linus, she is finding that her heart has taken a liking to him she’s just not sure her brain has caught up yet.
I dare say this is the best book in the series to date. The surprises just keep coming and romance is in the air. Edwards style of writing is so easy to read that once you start this book you aren’t going to want to put it down, readers beware! Grier’s I am over it already attitude and Linus’s patience is just another aspect that will make you fall in love with these characters if you haven’t already.
