Midlife’s a bumpy journey. The ride is a freaking rollercoaster. The crisis is real.

With my life back to normal—normal being a very relative word—one would think I’d catch a break.

One would be very wrong.

With an Angel gunning for me and a Demon in my bed, life couldn’t be more complicated. Not to mention, I’m going to have to make a rather large life choice.

Do I want to live forever? Does anyone?

Forever is a very long time.

Whatever. I’ll think about it tomorrow… or next week… or next month. As long as I have my girlfriends, my dogs, a super-sized case of merlot and my deceased squatters, I’m good to go.

My midlife crisis. My rules. If it doesn’t kill me dead first, I plan to have a most excellent midlife crisis.

Daisy has had a rough go of it lately and now that her life is somewhat back to normal she is hoping to get some answers she desperately needs but hope is a dangerous thing. Daisy is in love with the Grim Reaper and has an angel out to get her what else could possibly go wrong? Around every turn ,Daisy is finding new things out about herself that even have the Immortals stumped.

As far as midlife crises go, I think Daisy has the best one I’ve read about. She’s got a hunk of a man or demon rather; she has the best friends a girl could want who always come prepared with wine and cookies and her dogs what more could she possibly want? She loves her squatters and is happy gluing their parts back on and helping them with their unfinished business so they can move on to the next phase of their ghostly lives.

If you are wondering if some pressing questions will be answered in book 3, the answer is yes so you’ll have to read this fantastic book to appease your curiosity.
