Kindise Wyatt escapes her Star Rider captor and returns to Earth. With the help of a sexy Old World Mole and his mysterious friend, she's determined to uncover the whereabouts of her lover. Instead, she finds nothing but betrayal and her captor in pursuit.
On the lam after betraying his evil ruler, ex-Dirt Dweller and drifter Jaden Valenti confirms his name is on a hit list. Finding what he believes will be safety amongst the Airbornes, he recreates himself and hides his past until trouble walks back into his life in
the name of Kindise Wyatt, the woman he was ordered to assassinate and didn't.
Due to the obsessions of a Fae woman Sori gave up his hard-earned royal title and left his homeland of Elfame. Love is the furthest thing from his mind until he is sent in Jaden's place to pick-up some cargo...human cargo in the form Kindise Wyatt. He feels the Fae magnetism of his soulmate in her. Problem is; she's in love with someone else.
Will Jaden fulfill his orders to kill Kindise and get his name removed from the list, or will his secret be exposed and betray the friendship he has with Sori? Does Sori help Kindise find her lover, or will a love between them have a chance to flourish before a fatal attraction and a determined captor rip their love asunder? Will Kindise find true love or will betrayals at every turn crush the fight out of her? Can she find her inner strengths to keep fighting and lead The Freedom Fighters to defeat the Dirt Dweller elites, once and for all?
Jaden Valenti is an assassin and has a new assignment...to kill Kindise Wyatt but he has other worries since he's pretty sure that his own name is on a hit list put there by Landon Reto.
Kindise escaped from a male who says she is his woman but she doesn't feel anything for him so she gets away from him. Talut hasn't given up on her though because he tattooed her and he thinks that makes her his woman, which of course is kinda nuts to say the least.
Kindise wants to return to the moles to find her lover Lytell Williams and she's asked the help of a fae named Sori who finds her sexy and has a hard time keeping thoughts of sex with her out of his mind. Sori shares a home with Jaden and brings her home. Jaden can't believe that the woman he's been a little obsessed with and was hired to kill is now staying in his home.
Crazy thing was that both Sori and Jaden are in love with Kindise and at first she had no idea because she was or thought she was in love with Lytell who she wanted to find. But things aren't always as they appear to be and Lytell isn't who he appeared to be, which was a big shock to just about all of them.
So now that Kindise is no longer looking for Lytell she has two other guys wanting to woo her, wanting to prove they love her. So when Talut shows up looking for Sori because he knows Sori is helping her but only finds Jaden and he confesses he loves her, Talut makes him a deal he can't refuse. A very painful deal to give Kindise up once and for all.
There's also another story line going on with the fae queen and her daughter, Marigold. I have to say that I really hated Marigold. There's something seriously twisted in this woman's mind. I wonder if the fae have therapists or mental hospitals because this woman needs one, badly.
But I really like how Sori and Jaden come together to make Kindise happy even though these two guys couldn't be more different, their friendship really works well in this story.
This book is a continuation of the series but it can be read as a stand alone even though you won't understand how some of the characters fit together and know each other if you read the series out of order. So my recommendation is to start with the first book.
