Archaeologist Indiana Jones races against time to retrieve a legendary artifact that can change the course of history.

Even if not as great as Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Ark, this film has its moments with great action and good characters, although I really did not care for the villain, Dr. Voller, played by Mads Mikkelsen.

Still, the film did earn its right as an adventure of Indiana Jones--his last one.

My husband, who cosplayed as Indy at Cons in the 80s and later after the Crystal Skull film as older Indy, and I enjoyed the film. I wasn’t bothered by the digital making of Indy or Dr. Voller younger--at least they looked realistic enough. Go see it and enjoy it. It is a good ending for the adventuring archeologist.

As a fan of all things Marvel I 100% went into this film with very high expectations. I'm not a fan who just loves unconditionally all things the mega comic machine can crank out. No way. So when it comes to this stuff, I want only the best of the best, sir! (Men in Black quote right there)

Dr Strange hits on just about every damn thing I want to experience in a comic book movie. A character you can root for, bad guys that make you say dammmmmm!, wicked cool action, badass chicks fighting, CGI effects that will blow your hair back and comedy when you least expect it. Bam. Dinner served. 

Plus, this film isn't even about big ole muscles and long locks of golden hair on shirtless toned up men.....sorry I was drooling for a wee moment there. Point is, this movie is about spiritual powers and magic spells. It's something anyone can do no matter age, race or impairment. I loved that! 

Sharon is going to mention sticking around for all the credits to end and I'm just going to reinforce that. STICK AROUND.

Review: Sharon

I've never read the Doctor Strange comics so I went in with no expectations, but for some reason it didn't look like it would be on the same level, action wise, as previous Marvel movies. I was pleasantly surprised. I had no idea about the cloak of levitation...I think it was my favorite character. If you are a superhero action movie junkie (raises hand) then you will enjoy this. And even if you don't...have you seen Benedict Cumberbatch? He can play doctor with me any day!

Be sure to stick around for all the credits! There are two post credit scenes. A humorous one for Infinity Wars? Maybe. And one for Doctor Strange 2.
