Cover Grabby-hands Syndrome: Fright Night series by Dan Soule

Sometimes you run across a cover or series of covers that make you stop, bow down to the awesome, and maybe drool and develop grabby-hands.

Today, I give you Fright Nights Series (4 books) by Dan Soule

I'm a big horror fiction and art fan and Dan Soule's Fright Night covers caught my attention. As a series, the books really don't have a cohesive theme but I think it's okay in this case since all the books are stand-alone. Each cover tickles my horror artwork senses. Then I stalked his website and found he has some other worthy covers and at great prices...like FREE!
Tooth and Claw is a free novella and if you sign up for his newsletter you get a five-story boxset with another awesome cover!

Dan Soule's books have earned my Grabby-hands stamp of approval

Neolithica: (Fright Nights)
by Dan Soule
Jan 20, 2020
390 pages
What happens when the archaeological find of a lifetime becomes a threat to life itself?

After the death of her husband, Professor Mirin Hassan wants life to return to normal for her and her son. But when construction workers discover an ancient body in a Scottish peat bog, Mirin has no choice but to investigate the intricately tattooed Neolithic boy. Media attention and professional rivalries become the least of her worries because something other than cameras followed the corpse back to the university. Something beyond reason. Something evil. Something Mirin and the entire world will wish had stayed buried.

The must read horror of the year, Neolithica escalates to a shattering conclusion, in which the lives of a mother and son are intertwined with the fate of all humanity. A novel as epic in its vision as it is up close and personal with its frights. You won't want to miss this one.

About the Author
:
Okay, it’s a bit dramatic, but we’re just setting the mood. I sit here, writing from my crypt, Cassandra, my one-eye cat psychopathically keeping down the rat population around my feet. We’ve had a particularly good crop of fungus from the walls this year. Come the winter we’ll be well fed but our dreams will be plagued with stomach cramps and terrible hallucinations. But it fuels the writing.

If you are feeling brave, take a look around, browse the stacks before the damp destroys the parchment. Fortunately, if you like what you see copies are available for your ebook readers or to buy from various codex emporiums.

You can sign up for a newsletter, if so inclined. Sadly, I’ve discontinued the vellum edition. We ran out of baby goats when the geese guarding the graveyard became rabid. We do so love to hear from the living, and pass on stories of what we’ve been up to, here in the imaginarium.

So until you dream, safe travels. But remember, don’t stray from the path…

In reality, I was born and raised in Nottinghamshire, England, growing up in a small cathedral town called Southwell. I moved to Glasgow, Scotland aged 19 and met my now wife, a Northern Irish girl. Hence, I now live in Northern Ireland on the beautiful Antrim Coast, with my wife and two children, Cassie the cat and Jessie the dog.
If buying my books just isn’t enough and you are overflowing with so much gratitude you think your head might explode, splattering brains all over the walls, then this button might release some pressure. You’ll even get a shout out in the next newsletter.

Grabby hands Syndrome: PNR author Tenaya Jayne

Sometimes you run into a cover or series of covers that make you stop, bow down to the awesome, and maybe drool and develop grabby-hands.

Today, I give you
The Shadows of Regia Trilogy
by paranormal romance author Tenaya Jayne.

I love the drawn characters and the whole fantasy mood. And the turning the F into a sword was fabulous. Also the use of color highlights and sexy hair blowing in the wind. Plus the guy is a half-vampire! RAWR.

They have earned my Grabby-hands stamp of approval

I will give Tenya's other series an honorable mention.

Love the use of color in these covers. Eye-catching.

Fallen (The Shadows of Regia #1)
by Tenaya Jayne
September 29th 2017
404 pages
Genre: paranormal romance, adult, vampires
$.99
I will never submit to the man who killed my best friend...no matter what destiny says.

Half vampire and wealthy playboy, Maddox lives his life in the public eye and thoroughly enjoys his bad reputation. But what most people believe of him is not who he really is. Life has always been easy for Maddox, but now a dark figure moves through the shadows slaughtering innocent young women, and the evidence points at him as his exes start turning up dead with his name carved into their skin.

Erin hates everything Maddox stands for and when her best friend becomes the most recent in the line of mysterious killings, she has no doubt the rich lothario is responsible. Torn by grief, Erin decides to take matters into her own hands and she will stop at nothing to make Maddox pay.

But when the two rivals finally come head to head, neither is prepared for the sparks that fly or the eternal bond that destiny weaves between their souls. Maddox is desperate to keep Erin by his side and prove to her his innocence. Erin would rather die than submit to being his destined life mate… And her death is just what the killer has in mind.

This is a full novel. Book 1 of 3 in The Shadows of Regia Trilogy.

Reading my bio, huh?
Real life sucks. I bet you feel like that sometimes, maybe even right now. That's why I write fantasy. I need to escape depression, bitterness, bills, illness...I could go on, but you get it. In the pages of fiction, I can slay the dragons, triumph over the bad guys, be immortal, and never struggle with love handles. For a short time, I can let it all go, and be everything I can't be in real life. Maybe you're hurting right now. Maybe you're in the waiting room of the hospital, or just stuck in traffic. I've brought a portal. Come with me...Let's ditch this crappy popsicle stand and go somewhere great, where we can forget all this, at least for a while.

That's why I write. I'm not an author, I'm an escape artist.
