HE'S FOUND THE ONE...
SWAT officer Landry Cooper is certain Everly Danu is The One. The problem is, she has no idea what Cooper really is. And as much as he wants to trust her, he's not sure he can share his deepest secret...

When Everly's family discovers Cooper's a werewolf, her brothers will do anything to keep them apart-they'll kill him if they have to. Everly is falling hard for the ridiculously handsome SWAT officer, and she's not about to let her brothers tell her who she can love... Until Cooper's secret is exposed and she discovers the man she thought she knew is a monster in disguise.

BUT CAN HE KEEP HER?

When SWAT officer Landry Cooper meets Everly Danu, he’s certain she’s The One, only she doesn’t know that he and his team are werewolves but Everly’s brothers do and they’ll do whatever it takes to keep Landry away from Everly. But when Everly eventually does find out Landry’s secret it brings back painful memories from her past and forces her to make a choice.

I enjoy this series so much in part because the paranormal aspects don’t overwhelm the rest of the story and it flows smoothly from one scene to the next. Even the action sequences were smooth because there wasn’t a lot of paranormal type fighting going on. Landry and the rest of the SWAT team are wolf shifters with enhanced senses and that was it because the main focus of To Love a Wolf was always Landry and Everly’s story.

Speaking of Landry and Everly…

I just LOVED these two. I think they just might be neck in neck with the couple from book 2, Xander and Khaki for the #1 spot on my “Favorite Couples” list. All the SWAT guys are dreamy and total alphas (The attractive kind, not the ugly controlling kind) but Landry was the go-to guy when they had problems. He was the voice of reason, the giver of advice, and the most loyal of friends. I loved his calm, compassionate nature because it went so well with his alpha side and balanced him out as a character.

Everly was such a good match for Landry. She was tough when she needed to be because...hello, she was raised by her father and three brothers after her mother died so she kind of had to be tough or get run over by all the males in her life. I loved how assertive she could be when it came to what she wanted, but at the same time she loved her brothers and her father so her relationship with Landry put her in a tough situation. You gotta love a character that is torn between her family and her man, yet stands her ground. I loved her and Landry as a couple because they alternated between tender and sweet and hot and sexy. It was overall a great combination to me. Friendship and love make for two great foundations for a relationship and these two had it in spades.

Their connection and relationship felt very real to me and later after I finished the book I read in the author’s acknowledgements that Landry and Everly were fashioned after the author’s husband and herself respectively. I thought this was pretty neat and seriously, Landry and Everly were a really great couple and I fell in love with their story, so yay for the real life inspiration. *cue sighs and swoons*

Of course, you can’t have a SWAT book without having the other members of the team make appearances and it was great to see Xander, Khaki, Becker, Jayna, and all the rest of the extended family again. I just loved the camaraderie among them and the good natured teasing that came with the territory. There’s always humor to be found in those scenes and To Love a Wolf had plenty of moments like that.

Paige Tyler is one of those authors that just rocks when it comes to a sexy, action packed paranormal romance. I get so excited when one of her SWAT books is about to be released because I just know it’s going to be fun. To Love a Wolf is a must have for fans of both paranormal romance and romantic suspense because it excels at both. I’m already excited for the next book in the series!
