Even when he’s sure it’s only a game to her.
Cassandra has a sword hanging over her, a duty she has no choice but to perform and one she’s been putting off for years. Her latest excuse? Helping a band of immortal brothers with a war that might mean the end of this world if they fail. Her delaying the inevitable has nothing to do with the gorgeous Greek god who keeps rebuffing her and everything to do with saving the world. He’s a nice distraction and nothing more. She keeps telling herself that.
Even when she’s sure he’s a danger to her heart.
As things heat up in the battle to save the mortal world and the Underworld, will Daimon’s icy heart be able to withstand the fiery witch who can scorch him with just a look?
If you love Greek gods romance books featuring powerful dark lords of the Underworld and strong heroines who steal their hearts, this paranormal romance series is for you.
Seven powerful Greek god heroes. Seven passionate paranormal romance books. No cliffhangers. Just happily forever afters!
Felicity Heaton’s HEA paranormal romance series Guardians of Hades chronicles the lives and loves of the seven sons of Hades. The sons have been banished from the underworld to stop a prophecy foretelling the destruction of the human world and beyond. Installment six tells the tale of Daimon, the god with a lethal icy touch, and Cassandra, the Russian sorceress who both tantalizes and torments him. Until he encounters Cass, Daimon’s life in the human world has been led in relative solitude. Wholly intrigued by the white-haired broody god, Cassandra is unrelenting in her pursuit of Daimon. It’s merely a matter of time before desires collide with explosive results.
Like other installments in this series, the romance in Daimon smolders against a backdrop of mortal danger. Still in pursuit of their nemesis, the wraith Eli, the brothers begin to unravel a plot bigger than initially suspected and potentially involving their long lost sister Calindria. The series is well-written with action-packed sequences and swoon-worthy romance. Daimon was an enjoyable read and fits nicely within the series.
Guardians of Hades is winding down. I’m satisfied with the series, but very much looking forward to the story of eldest brother Keras. The most deadly brother, and Hades’ heir apparent, has been teasing readers for the past few installments. The tale of his tumultuous, ill-fated affair with goddess warrior Enyo is guaranteed to entertain.

Great review. I can't wait to read Keras' book either.
