I haven't had to read a children's book in a loooong time, lol. But back in the day, I read more than I can remember with my two girls. And since I like to give children's books to new parents I'm always on the lookout for new ones.

The artwork is adorable! As in decorating a baby's nursery adorable. I think the book is better suited for the toddler and under crowd. They are more interested in the pictures and listening to their parents' voices.

When you have preschool and older kids, reading is a great opportunity to start teaching them to look at and learn words. But the text/fonts in The Littlest Dinosaur aren't kid-reading friendly since it's in cursive. But that's just my experience.
