Genre: Comedy, Action
Runtime: 1h 57m
Distributor: Netflix
In the world of international crime, an Interpol agent attempts to hunt down and capture the world's most wanted art thief.

My husband and I watched Red Notice because we love action/comedy movies and all three main actors. We were not disappointed! Red Notice was a lot of fun. Some things were predictable but there were a few surprise twists you don't see coming.

Dwayne Johnson does comedy well. Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool in pretty much every role he plays. Gal Gadot won't win any acting awards, but she is beautiful!

If you love this type of movie, then you'll love this.

My husband says any movie with Gal Gadot gets a minimum of 4 sheep... he gives Red Notice 4.5 Sheep

I give it
4 "*whispers* worth it" Sheep

Diana Prince lives quietly among mortals in the vibrant, sleek 1980s -- an era of excess driven by the pursuit of having it all. Though she's come into her full powers, she maintains a low profile by curating ancient artifacts, and only performing heroic acts incognito. But soon, Diana will have to muster all of her strength, wisdom and courage as she finds herself squaring off against Maxwell Lord and the Cheetah, a villainess who possesses superhuman strength and agility.

Getting 3 and 1/2 Sheep
Wonder Woman 1984 had a lot to offer, at times maybe too much fanny pack. But hey, they can come in handy! I decided to finally sign up for HBO just because of this movie. I'll binge-watch the hell out the rest of this month and cancel it soon. Took long enough to watch a blockbuster like this; I didn't care where I had to go. Just show me some Hollywood action already! All that said, I enjoyed seeing Gal once again get all decked out for WW.

No matter what you may think of the movie overall, Gal does an amazing job of bringing this superhero woman to life. She is believable, likable, and a downright joy to watch in any movie she makes. Girl crush much? Yea, sure why not. She's freaking smoking hot and can act her booty off! I dunno what else to say except I like her and really want to hope she's just as nice in real life.

All the action I come to expect with movies like this, bad guys, and gals. Hard decisions for humanity to make and some funny, witty character banter. Overall a very enjoyable popcorn movie for a Christmas evening at home, in my pj's, with the family. I can't ask for anything more. Except, maybe more butter for my popcorn!

3 1/2 Sheep
Katie and I agree on this one.

My husband and I also got HBO Max streaming just to see WW84. But we are keeping it for a while because Godzilla vs. King Kong in May!

Now, my husband has a very biased opinion of Wonder Woman, lol. He gave it 4 1/2 sheep.

I was a teenager in the 80s, and even I will admit that 80s culture hurt your eyes! So much bright. The movie overdid the "HEY LOOK IT'S THE 80s!" *shoves it in our faces." It did calm down eventually.

I liked the plot...couldn't figure out how Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) was back, but it all makes sense now, lol. The movie was longer than it needed to be...but the story is all heart and feels. The movie will pull at your heartstrings and leave you with a smile by the end—an overall positive message during a not so positive time for people in the real world.

Not as good technically as the first movie, but if you are a Wonder Woman fan (or just a Gal Gadot fan like my husband), then it's worth checking out.

Be sure to catch the after-credit scene.!

Sheep Movie Review: The Justice League (2017) Spoiler-free

Justice League (2017)
Directed By: Zack Snyder
Written By: Chris Terrio, Joss Whedon
Cast: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa
In Theaters: Nov 17, 2017 Wide
Rating: PG-13 (for sequences of sci-fi violence and action)
Genre: Action & Adventure, Drama, Science Fiction & Fantasy
Runtime: 110 minutes
Studio: Warner Bros. Pictures
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes--Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash--it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League was entertaining. Went to see it with my husband and 16-year-old daughter. My husband liked it more than Thor: Ragnarok, but I think that has more to do with Wonder Woman.

Gotham City is just such a sad and dark place and the movies reflect that. Ezra Miller's Flash was the one bright spot. He was so freaking cute and had all the best lines. I was surprised at how much I liked Cyborg and the way they handled his backstory. Really hits you in the feels. I was a little disappointed with the depiction of Wonder Woman compared to the Wonder Woman movie. There were a lot of shots that focused on her butt...I mean, it is a nice one, but there was more emphasis on her looks in this movie. The Amazons wore two-piece armor so their bellies were exposed. But to be fair, Aquaman was shirtless so it kind of balances out. I like Ben Aflack as Bruce Wayne, but I'm not a fan of the Batman costume. It has no flexibility. I'm not sure he can even sit in that thing. He moves around like an action figure without any movable parts.

There were lots of great action scenes between the villain Steppenwolf (He has mommy issues.) and our Superheros. Thor: Ragnarok set the superhero movie bar kind of high for me and Justice League didn't quite reach it. But it looks great on the big screen so it is worth seeing.

*There are two extra scenes! Stay till all the credits are over :)

Don gives it 5 Sheep
Holly give is 4 Sheep
I give it 4 "REALLY competitive ice-dancing" Sheep

KATIE'S REVIEW

I didn't get all the same warm fuzzes Sharon and fam did. Not at all. I wanted to. It just didn't happen. That really does make me sad too. I may not be a big DC fan BUT I do love heroes and hot guys with their shirts off. *swoon for Aquaman!*

This movie was missing a ton of pieces when it came to story-line. The Amazon gals looked weak sauce, acted weak and fought weak which that right there really bugged me. The team overall just did not work for me, Batman was totally different in this movie as in any other movie I have ever seen the character. Even Val Kilmer did a better job. The new Flash was cute but got annoying just as quickly. Cyborg was the only one I actually liked and was invested in.

The CGI left much to be desired, what the Hades happened! Overall, the movie was middle of the road. I wanted better. Expected better. Didn't happen. That's how it goes sometimes.

Movie Review: Wonder Woman (2017) No spoilers

Wonder Woman (2017)
Jun 2, 2017 Wide
Rating: PG-13 (for sequences of violence and action, and some suggestive content)
Genre: Action & Adventure, Drama, Science Fiction & Fantasy
Directed By: Patty Jenkins
Written By: Allan Heinberg, Zack Snyder, Jason Fuchs
Cast: Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis
Runtime: 141 minutes
An Amazon princess (Gal Gadot) finds her idyllic life on an island occupied only by female warriors interrupted when a pilot (Chris Pine) crash-lands nearby. After rescuing him, she learns that World War I is engulfing the planet, and vows to use her superpowers to restore peace. Directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster).

Well, that was awesome! DC has a winner with this one and those few that think a female superhero can't be a lead...there is the door.

Went to see this with my 16-year-old daughter (she actually turned 16 during the movie) and a school friend of hers. We all agreed the movie was worth seeing.

I was a little skeptical of DC's casting choice for Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot is absolutely beautiful, but not very Amazonian looking. She does an amazing job and I have no problem seeing her as the new Wonder Woman.

Going into the movie, the only things I knew about Wonder Woman's origin story I got from the Linda Carter TV days. I've never read a Wonder Woman comic. So I went in without any expectations, plot-wise. I love the mythos and the way it was presented. The little girl who played the young Diana was freaking adorable! And you really can't go wrong with Chris Pine.

The subject matter (Nazis) is pretty heavy stuff and they don't shy away from showing the horrors of war, but it is handled well and there is well-written humor...much like the Marvel movies.

The special effects are fun and the movie is action packed and then some. There were some CGI fight scenes that could have been done better...it looked too much like a video game.

This is a must see for superhero movie fans.

P.S. The Justice League trailer has me foaming at the mouth! Just saying...Aquaman *drool*

All three of use give it 4 1/2 "Terrified and aroused" Sheep

Sheep Movie Review: Keeping Up With the Joneses

Keeping Up With the Joneses
Directed By:Greg Mottola
Written By:  Mike LeSieur

Cast: Zach Galifianakis, Jon Hamm, Isla Fisher, Gal Gadot
In Theaters: Oct 20, 2016
Rating:PG-13 (for sexual content, action/violence and brief strong language)
Genre: Comedy
Runtime: 101 minutes
Studio: 20th Century Fox
A suburban couple becomes embroiled in an international espionage plot when they discover that their seemingly perfect new neighbors are government spies.

Went to see Keeping Up With the Joneses with my husband and 15 year old daughter. We all enjoyed the movie. Lots of laugh out loud moments. While there was some action, I wouldn't rank this as an action movie. The pace was steady and just this side of slow. It was well acted and Zach Galifianakis is actually charming instead of the usual creepy and annoying characters.

This movie is worth a matinee price if you are looking for something to see on a rainy day, but you won't miss out much by waiting to see it on DVD.

3.5 "one...two..." Sheep
