Bridesmaids, a fun riot!

Bridesmaids, directed by Paul Feig, stars Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Rose Byrne. It's a laugh out loud comedy with an actual plot, and while it may be filled with women it's not to be confused with a "chick flick". It's not an action-packed thriller, but there's so much going on you won't need the action to be entertained. :)

Storyline:
Annie (Kristen Wiig), is a maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), and a group of colorful bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to matrimony. Annie's life is a mess. But when she finds out her lifetime best friend is engaged, she simply must serve as Lillian's maid of honor. Though lovelorn and broke, Annie bluffs her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals. With one chance to get it perfect, she'll show Lillian and her bridesmaids just how far you'll go for someone you love.

If you like comedies and you enjoy SNL you will really like this movie. Kristen Wiig is such a talented woman I really can't say enough about her comedy skills, I find it amazing she is not in more movies. John Hamm plays her sleazy bed buddy, I really love that guy but ewww was he such a jerk in this film. But his behavior as a jerk was the whole point of his character. Kristen's character has lost her cake shop, lives with weird roommates, drives a beat-up car and is on the brink of a mini melt down. Discovering that her best friend is getting married, she struggles to play the part of Maid of Honor while on a very tight budget. A movie very much showing the sign of the times we can all relate to.

Love and life get in the way, while trying to find happiness in the small things and letting go of failures. A great storyline with a bunch of fun humor, but not for the easily disgusted or faint of heart. This comedy is full go with the dark and light humor. A must see for those that want to laugh, have a strong stomach and enjoy a little raunch with there dinner. :)
