Love Potion is a Valentine’s Day charity anthology featuring eight exclusive paranormal romance stories. After reading Such Violent Delights: A Holiday Paranormal Romance Anthology, I was ready to dive into another collection of seasonal steaminess. I read three of the eight entries: How to Capture a Demon’s Heart by Graceley Knox and D.D. Miers, A Demon’s Plaything by Amelia Hutchins, and A Damsel and a Demigod (The Guild Codex: Spellbound) by Annette Marie. I’m totally buying into the anthology format for its teasers of favourite series and introductions to new-to-me authors. Such Violent Delights led me to one of my new favourite writers, S.L. Jennings.

Admittedly, I chose these three stories as I’m familiar with these authors and I was short on time. I’ve recently rediscovered D.D. Miers. I enjoy her writing style both alone and paired with Knox. How to Capture a Demon’s heart is a charming, magical story that had me riveted from start to finish. I cannot resist an Amelia Hutchins release and Demon’s Plaything, a story set in the Fae Chronicles universe, checks all the boxes. Finally, A Damsel and a Demigod is another sweet story rife with action and adventure. Annette Marie’s Guild Codex series is one I’ve started to follow.

I plan to read a few more entries, at least, in this anthology. In fact, I think I just made my Valentine’s plans ;) If you’re looking for a little romance this Valentine’s Day, but aren’t ready to fully commit, try this Love Potion. You
may find your new book boyfriend. This Love Potion is a steal at only $1 for kindle, plus, since it’s a charity anthology, you’ll be spreading the love.

About the Charity:
Founded in 2000 on the belief that World Change Starts with Educated Children®, Room to Read’s innovative model focuses on deep, systemic transformation within schools in low-income communities during two time periods that are most critical in a child’s schooling: early primary school for literacy acquisition and secondary school for girls’ education. We work in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations, and governments to develop literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children and ensure girls can complete secondary school with the skills necessary to negotiate key life decisions. Room to Read has benefited 16.6 million children across more than 30,000 communities in 16 countries. Learn more at www.roomtoread.org.
