I'm young to have so many enemies. The Skinners, Dark Walkers, Wood Mist, they all want me for their own reasons. But those were enemies I could fight. Now the disease that changed me forever is back.

It’s reaping death and havoc everywhere it strikes and I’m nearly helpless to stop it except for one chance. There’s a rumor of a cure. But Dax, my ally here in the Wilds, has vengeance on his mind. As I prepare to fight the Bloody Death by any means I can, I might have to leave behind the only man who has ever stood beside me.

Dahlia has a lot of enemies and she doesn’t even know why half of them want her. The ones with names she knows she can fight and probably win but the bloody death is back and her life is going to change once again.

Such an imaginative story from Augustine and probably the best one of this series. There are so many surprises in this book you will not want to miss it. Dahlia is hell bent on finding a cure for the bloody death and will stop at nothing to do so. I really liked some of the new characters introduced in this one but missed some of the old ones that don’t really make an appearance. The chemistry between Dahlia and Dax heat up but keep tissues close for some of the surprises.

About the Author:
Donna Augustine was an odd child, had a brief moment of conformity in early adulthood and then decided to embrace her craziness as the years rolled by. It's her inner crazy that she credits with coming up with the ideas for her books. One part hypochondriac, a few dashes of paranoia, topped with a sliver of uptight and delivered with a relaxed flair, she kicked the proverbial box down the yellow brick road a couple years ago to embrace her true self.

She can be reached by a carrier pigeon, set free in a south by north direction, where she resides in Neverland with her two Siberian cats. Cats who, by the way, aren't as hypoallergenic as she believed they'd be.

For the conventional minded, and those of you without a pigeon on hand, she can be reached at donna@donnaaugustine.com. She responds to most emails within three dusk periods.

P.S. For those of you looking for the discarded box, it was sitting beside the road for a while but has since disappeared completely.
