On the offensive, Dr. Ephraim Goodweather and his companions arm themselves and head deep below New York City to smoke out the leader of the vampire menace. But before they can enter his lair, they're paid a deadly visit from the towering beast himself—the Master!

Soon to be a TV series!

The vampire plague has been spreading and the Master is free, battling against Professor Abraham Setrakian and his co-harts, Dr. Eph Goodweather, Dr. Nora Martinez, and a pest exterminator turned vampire exterminator. New York City seems empty of life, and yet, the vampires come, searching for blood and victims. Victims that once caught, will turn too.

There is another evil mind here—human, but invalid and aged, who had the Master brought to the city, with his own agenda. This man has co-harts of his own, who spread of eclipse hysteria. Each comic tempt us to read on, to see if the Master will be defeated by the heroes. If you never read the novels, I won’t spill the beans for you, but this series has so far been one hell of ride, scary and dark. But, oh so worth it. The artwork has been masterfully done, revealing a city fast growing scary, with not knowing that when someone answers a door it’s a family member no longer human, searching for their ‘dear ones.’ Advice? Read this with the lights on. This comic is a nightmare brought to life.
