Harper Collins Publishing has a cure for both... or maybe just another way to make the pre-teen in your life that much sicker! <G>
I am a 45 year old woman and these books don't hold a lot of appeal for me, but I vividly remember my pre-teen celebrity crush days and I would have done anything to get books like these about KISS, Shaun Cassidy, Andy Gibb and Donny Osmond and Ah-Ha. I know some of you have no idea who these people are... but they were the Bomb! once upon a time.

I looked through the One Direction and Beiber books and they are full of all the pertinent info like their astrological signs, their favorite hair care products and what kind of girl they like. There are plenty of pictures to send your pre-teen into a star-struck coma and her friends too. My pre-teen isn't into either of these, but she has friends who are and the squeal factor was deafening. So I have no choice but to give all three books

Neither of these hold any appeal to me but I know a few teenagers that would die for them. lol Not my daughter though..she's 21 years old right now and she's in love with Johnny Depp. Has been for years.

DeleteWow I thought for sure I was the only one who was in LOVE with Shawn Cassidy and Donny Osmand my mom would laugh because if they came on tv I would go bone still like a toddler with a commercial on....:) but my 15yr old daughter and my 4yr old granddaughter both love bieber and 1 direction so I guess I would be the GREATEST MOM/MIMI ever if I won!!!!

lol! I wrote my first fan letter to Donny Osmond when I was 7. I figured most of our readers wouldn't want these books, but would know some kids who would!
DeleteFor me it was New Kids on the Block. I loved those boys. I have an (almost) 12 year old daughter and she would freak for the Beiber books! My 6 year old daughter loves One Direction!

That is a riot! For me it was Shaun Cassidy, then Rick Springfield, and eventually Bon Jovi. I still have a crush on Jon to this day. LOL

I'm not entering the giveaway. I just have a Beiber story. I have no idea why but I think he is adorable and it makes me feel like a dirty old woman. I order from Sephora regularly. A few months back one of the samples I got was his Girlfriend perfume. I was so excited. I was disgustingly giddy.

54 entries! There must be quite a few fans out there. My kid is 14 and when she sees someone reading one of these teen mags/books she says she is embarrassed for them. I guess she is immune to the sickness ;) My crush was Corey Hart the "Sunglasses At Night" guy. Remember him, anyone? I still have his best of hits CD in my rack here and pop it in to cheer me up.

My sister is absolutely obsessed with One Direction, especially Harry. I've never really had anything like Bieber Fever for any celeb. I had quite a few teenage crushes, but nothing serious really.

It if one of those obscure facts that I have never been a fan of squee, that is until recently. It has been brought to my attention that at times I actually start sounding like a preteen when it comes to finding good books, authors, and series that I love. Who knew o_O I thank you for sharing about this, as I have felt woefully uneducated about this syndrome . . . Now back to Bite SQUEEEEEEEE!
