Sheeptopia - Land of Wool, Books, and plans for total world domination
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win
ReplyDeleteThe island should be called Baali
ReplyDeleteMuttonhead. Where everyone can get to the meat of the story...
ReplyDeleteBaaaa Isle, land of fleece and chops ;).
ReplyDeleteI am not that great with names but here it goes- Sheeply resort
ReplyDeleteCaorach... (with extra ach) This is Celtic term for sheep. As everyone knows, many years ago, the Archangel Michaela (Michael... she let them call her that because it was easier) was forced to do battle, subdue, and strand her fellow Seraphim on a distant and deserted Tahitian island after his attempt to wipe out all the sheep in Europe. He said they were bothering him with all the bleating and had to go. The devastation of the sheep community was blamed on the disease anthrax, which didn't actually exist as of yet, thought Pete (the Seraphim of Plague... no, that's not his real name) was only too happy to produce to new strain in an effort to help Mic with the Ariel situation. The sheep of Eireland were spared from the desheepization simply because Ariel hadn't made it that far north. And that is why... in honor of those brave and noble Celtic sheep, we should name the island... Caorach
ReplyDeleteWell, there you go! That make perfect sense :) Thanks for the fun story!
DeleteBellwether Island. A lush green place shaped like a ram with plenty of trees for shade and a brook for fresh water. There will be a small library and old world teashop in the Rural Cottage Inn and all visitors are asked to stay away from the small hill with cave so as not to disturb Jake.
ReplyDeletePecora Isle with its own free spa and resort. and a private library that is magical and has all books upon demand in all forms and language's
ReplyDeleteAccording to my dictionary pecora is sheep in Italian but I it could be wrong lol.
I would name the island ...Sheep Rock. It would be named for the singing ghost sheep that are said to inhabit the island because sometimes when the moon is full and the fog has almost covered the island you can hear the sheep and their ancestors baaing at the moon and some say it almost sounds like they are singing.
ReplyDeleteBig meadow island, where all sheep and tame dragons are welcome :)
ReplyDeleteI'd simply go with Sheep Island. There'd be lots of meadows, dotted with large shade trees, and there'd be clear, crystalline ponds and streams for the sheep to drink from (and you to enjoy!).
ReplyDeleteI would name the island Woolland. The beaches are soft and fluffy but the island smells when it rains.
ReplyDeletehow about Baaaahiti? it will need some nice pastures for grazing!
ReplyDeleteSheeplishstan....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity.

Sheeptopia or Sheephoria.

ReplyDeleteSheeptopia or Sheephoria.
ReplyDeletesheeptopia or Ovis Enclave. Maybe The Glistening Isles, The Crying Baaaa Island or The sheep Refuge. The island would be beautiful greenery - plenty of grass and water for the sheep. Some trees for shade. It would have a beautiful waterfall with a clear blue sparkling pool of water at the bottom of it.

ReplyDeleteAnd on this magical island, the sheep shall have lots of wonderful hills to wonder upon, with both open pastures to sun themselves and graze, and wooded areas to rub against the trees, and perhaps eat some leaves ;) They shall also have slaves, I mean caretakers, to make sure that they have everything they need, such as salt blocks, hay, feed, etc. and wonderful, comfy shelters for times of nasty weather, or when they just want to be pampered.
