In the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.

What a fun movie! It is better than the first Ant-Man. Tons of suspense and action scenes and my favorite part of any Marvel movie—humor. The character Scott Lang is such a lovable dork. Honestly, there was nothing in the movie I didn't like... so I can keep this review short and sweet. Go see it if you love Marvel movies.

There are two after credit scenes. The first one is pretty long...and right after the cast acknowledgments. DAMN! Didn't see that coming, but should have. The second one is at the very end and quick. Basically tying the movie into the universe as a whole.

Stan Lee has a cameo. Not sure how many more he will be making, but this is a funny one.

My daughter, her friend and I give it...

  1. None of the Marvel movies have been a big hit for me, even Black Panther and the last Thor flick which many adored. I liked Antman and I think I liked this one more because it was less humorous to me. The story line was better and more developed.

    1. There was a very strong storyline in this one...but I thought it was funnier...don't know why. I just loved the intereactions of Scott Lang and his friends. The Baba Yaga scene was great.
