The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Went to see Captain Marvel with my 17-year-old daughter. We both loved it. We went in with very little knowledge of Captain Marvel's origin story. I thought they did a Flerken-great job and Marvel continues to make humorous action-packed entertainment.

There are a lot of surprise tie-ins with the other movies. We now know how Fury lost his eye!

I thought Brie Larson was a great choice. And the only skin she bared were her feet. Annette Benning was stunning. Jude Law looked good as ever. The only disappointing character was Carol Danver's best friend, Maria. There should have been more chemistry between them. And I thought the soundtrack was weak compared to other Marvel movies.

The real star of the movie is'll just have to wait and see what I mean by that ;)

This is one you want to see on the big screen, just like all the other Marvel movies. Stick around for the two after credit scenes. One is directly related to Endgame and the other is silly fun.

Holly and I give it 4 1/2 "It's just a cat!" Sheep

  1. I saw it last night and think it's my favorite Marvel film. It had a strong story line. I think the silly fun scene at the end will have a great deal to do with End Game.

    1. It was a good story line. Will be interesting to see it does!
