The Abbotts are coping with the disappearance of their daughter-in-law when the neighbouring Tillersons make a play for their ranch land. Tension comes to a head when a mysterious black void arrives in the Abbotts' pasture.

Outer Ranger Season 2 on Amazon Prime stars Josh Brolin, Lili Taylor, Imogen Poots, Lewis Pullman and Tamara Podemski. I had a free month of Prime shipping so I figured, what the heck I'll try this. Holy Moly. What a crazy show!

Season 1 leaves us with so many questions, what is this hole? What is the purpose and why is it just popping up? There's so much to unpack. We know Josh Brolin who plays Royal Abbot is somehow a key of sorts to this whole sci fi phenomena, but we don't know much else.

We watch Sheriff Joy who got trapped in the past and thankfully she gets back to her family. Although so mush time has passed on her end. My girl is CHANGED. To her core. She's seen some things man and I can not blame her for coming back with all kinds of PTSD. Of course she wants to talk it out with Royal, but he's trying to save his family and possibly the world from this dang-gum hole!

All the bodies and debris they keep throwing in that thing, have to be just piled up some place in time. Some poor souls in another time are just seeing bodies fall from the sky. No wonder we believe in Alien abductions! But I digress, this town has so much going on it's hard to keep track.

Plus, this show feeds you just a drop at a time. I feel like so many cards are being held back, maybe more unseen players are coming up. I have no idea and often find myself almost frustrated to watch another episode. Yet, I do. The show is very compelling, I just wish they would explain more. My god, talk Royal! Use your words! He's so closed lipped, it's like pulling teeth with a fork! You're killing me dude.

I have no idea why Amy/Autumn is so being so weird, why she thinks that she's almost like a god. But she's got some real mental health issues and hopefully more will come in season 3. Is she really going to be bad? I'm not so sure, but it's very hard to tell.

Went to see Deadpool 2 with my daughter Holly and one of her Marvel loving friends. We had a blast! The whole theater had a blast. I haven't laughed that hard for that long at a movie...ever. There are so many in-jokes and references to other superhero movies I couldn't keep up with them.

Yeah, it was kind of predictable in parts, but there are a few WTF moments that will have you laughing and screaming with disgust and joy. I haven't had so much fun at the movies in a while. Of course you have to have a pretty sick sense of humor, but that goes without saying...this is Deadpool.

Josh Brolin is a good-looking man and I refuse to make any jokes about laying Cable...

#NCDEADPOOL hung out in front of the theater before the movie. We all got pics with him. He even corrupted my daughter!


There are two after-scenes right after the initial end credits. At the end, end...there isn't visual after-scene, but there is an audio one!

If you liked the first Deadpool movie then you will love this one. I think it was funnier than the first, or I could just be immature ;)

In Men in Black 3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back...in time. Everyone wants to know…is it worth seeing? Yes! At least I think so, but it started out a little awkward for me. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones have aged a lot since the last film. It was kind of jarring, but they didn’t try and pretend the movie happens right after the end of the second one; Agents K and J have been working together 15 years when this movie begins. I think the writers came up with a clever story angle with this one and pulled it off beautifully. Watching Josh Brolin as a younger Agent K was definitely worth the price of admission. Agent K of the past is much more lighthearted and optimistic than future K and Agent J has always wondered why K acts the way he does. The answer was touching and added a nice twist to the story.

 One thing to be careful is taking younger kids if they get scared. The bad guy, Boris the Animal, is pretty bad and he kills lots of aliens and people by impaling them with spikes...in the head. I like the darker edge to the villain but small children might not. One of my favorite characters was Griffin, he is the last of his kind and can see infinite futures. He is such a lovable character and even though he dresses and acts silly, there is a deeper message there.

The film is full of snarky one liners, lots of action and a great ending that will warm your heart. I feel it was worth the matinee price. I don’t think seeing it in 3D would have enhanced my experience though so you might want to save that money.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. yeah well i came close

Wall Street, directed by Oliver Stone, stars Michael Douglas, Josh Brolin, Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan. It hit theaters this weekend. Never one to miss a movie staring Michael Douglas, I made my way to the theater with my movie gal pal, Ceci. :)

Plot Summary:

The sequel to the 1987 popular movie, "Wall Street". This film follows the actions of a Wall Street trader Gordon Gekko after his release from prison. As the global economy teeters on the brink of disaster, a young Wall Street trader partners with disgraced former Wall Street corporate raider Gekko on a two-tiered mission: To alert the financial community to the coming doom, and to find out who was responsible for the death of the young trader's mentor.

This movie review for me is a little hard to write. Let me explain a bit. Something definitely felt off in the script. Ceci and I discussed this for at length after the movie but could not put our finger on exactly what the problem was. To quote her words "the whole thing just needed to be redone". I don't know if I agree with that 100% but I get where she was coming from. Something did not work out, there was a big lack of finesse missing. More smoothness needed maybe? Definitely tricky.

Okay, review time. Bling is one of the big themes in this movie. So much time was taken to show who was wearing what and what fancy shmacny place they got it from. Really? Ok if thats what you want to waste film footage on. Oh wait! Film makes big money on showing off corporate names...got it. No wonder Heineken and Ducati are mentioned so much as well. :P

As for the acting, it was decent. Carey can sure cry on cue, had that water faucet pouring a plenty. Almost became annoying IMO. Michael, Shia and Josh put forth the best performance they could, but it all seems to come back to that script. Not much you can do if its horribly lacking. Cinematography was done well enough, but focus felt more on the architecture around the actors and left me with a feeling of emotion detachment.

Overall, it's a bunch of bling-bling look at my ring and Wall Street mind games. As I myself am such a direct person and HATE being manipulated in any fashion. The whole back stabbing and cut throat business that is Big Money was a huge turn off in it's own right. So again, writing this review comes with mixed emotions for me. And seeing how I was just recently screwed out of some money by a cleaver con-artist, this movie hit very very close to home.

Gets 2 1/2 sheep from me and a big recommendation to miss the high theater ticket price and wait for the dvd.
