Stepdad, Brad Whitaker, is a radio host trying to get his stepchildren to love him and call him Dad. But his plans turn upside down when the biological father, Dusty Mayron, returns.

This was pretty much what you expect. The trailer is pretty accurate. The story was predictable, but it was still a lot of fun. I went with my husband and 14 year old daughter and we all laughed. The ending is hilarious.

If you are looking for something to do on a cold or rainy day this is worth a matinee price. Seeing it on the big screen won't make it better so if you are a DVD kind of person then grab it if you like these kind of movies. Young adults will love it, but be careful with how young since there is some language and sexual humor.

  1. I am a total fan of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg and watch either or both of them in movies. The trailer made this look pretty funny and I can tell these two characters have a great rapport together. Glad you guys had fun, and this is definitely on my list to see. Hugs...

  3. I don't go to movies very often, only if they have superheroes in them ;) but I will watch this one if it is on tv.
