Jessica McClain is on the hunt for her destiny. She arrives in Baltimore to find that her quest has reached a dead end and only a note remains. Forced to do as it says, or die, Jessica and her crew must head overseas.

They arrive to discover Julian de Rossi, the Mediterranean Pack Alpha, is double dealing with a powerful goddess and Tally is still missing. With help from a divine source, they engage in an all out war—one that must end in a sacrifice. But is Jessica ready to pay the ultimate price?

It's hard not to like Amanda's writing style and story telling. Witches, Vamps, Seers, Celestial beings, Fae...what's not to like. Clean storylines, humanized kick ass, confident female and great characters draw you in and keep you reading until the end.

Coming near to the coronation of the new "Coalitioin" committee of the 5 strongest super's in the world, a "seer" hag is determined to destroy Jessica for preventing the rebirth of her sister into this realm. Surrounded by her team, Jessica must convince the hag to give her a chance to prevent thousands of years of chaos and still return her sister to this realm without sacrificing her life.

This is the 7th book of the Jessica McClain series. Having not read all the installments preceding this issue I felt a little behind the 8 ball but still enjoyed the characters, action and resolution of this story. Just starting out with this series? It's always nice to start with #1. BUT...not really necessary! You will enjoy this episode as long as you aren't the OCD reader that needs to know how everyone got to this point. Just sit back, read and enjoy. Then go get your background when you are finished. (Because I am sure you can't read "just one"!

About the Author:
I’m a Minnesota girl, born and bred. I started writing stories about teenage girls and their social missteps when I was in high school. I still have the handwritten spiral notebooks to prove it.

I started writing FULL BLOODED. because kickass heroines rock and I love shifters of all kinds. There aren’t enough warm-blooded girls to go around, in my opinion. I fell into Jessica’s story and had such a great time writing it and now I couldn’t imagine writing anything other than urban fantasy and paranormal romance. When you’re creating a story in this fantastic genre, it can contain almost any elements you can dream up. Creatively, for me, there’s nothing better.

Amanda is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, with a BA in both Speech and Hearing Science & Child Development. She went on to get an A.A.S in Sign Language Interpreting and worked as an interpreter until her first child was born. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband and three kids.
