The next installment in the blockbuster franchise, UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Time to put a stake in the heart of this franchise...Went to see Underworld: Blood Wars with my husband. We both agreed that it sucked (pun intended). The CGI was TV network quality, the storyline was silly (can't explain because of spoilers) and insulting to Vampires and Lycans everywhere.

The Vamps and Lycans (who are in people form) are fighting...the Lycans start to change. What do the Vamps do? Freeze and wait for them to finish changing before fighting again. I'm no rocket scientist or vampire that has had hundreds of years experience fighting Lycans, but it sure seemed like the Lycans were at a disadvantage then. Don't even get me started on what the vampires wear...Hot Topic hot.

The only good thing was watching Theo James (David—I'm King Arthur look at my sword) and Bradly James (Varga—vampire a**kisser).

My husband and I both give it 2 "ice cream cone hair" Sheep

  1. I LOVED the first 2 in the series. The 3rd was decent. After that, utter shyte. I will watch this one though, when it comes out on DVD. I figure if I can watch all of the Resident Evils and survive I can watch this one :D

    1. I agree totally! I will be watching Resident Evil too...I don't have my hopes to high, but you never know... :)
