Book one in this new series starts off on a solid footing. I wasn't blown away by anything over the top exciting but I also wasn't underwhelmed or savagely disappointed by any means.
I will say that some areas of the main characters did feel a tad underdeveloped. I wanted more backstory on the cast overall and why they were able to live for so long. What was their history? I felt like this was glossed over a bit or kinda left out. But that could also be me, as a reader, just not getting that portion.
Some fun action and strong lead males that you come to expect in PNR. I did feel the hot and heavy parts of the romance sold me where maybe other sections lacked. Overall I liked this new series but hope that future installments come with more character building and less of the filler stuff. Bikes and tattoos are cool but...give me some more action and adventure!
