More than two decades have passed since Sarah Connor prevented Judgment Day, changed the future, and re-wrote the fate of the human race. Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) is living a simple life in Mexico City with her brother (Diego Boneta) and father when a highly advanced and deadly new Terminator -- a Rev-9 (Gabriel Luna) -- travels back through time to hunt and kill her. Dani's survival depends on her joining forces with two warriors: Grace (Mackenzie Davis), an enhanced super-soldier from the future, and a battle-hardened Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). As the Rev-9 ruthlessly destroys everything and everyone in its path on the hunt for Dani, the three are led to a T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from Sarah's past that may be their last best hope.

Went to see Terminator: Dark Fate last weekend with my husband. I wanted it to be good...I hoped it would be good...but it wasn't. The script was awful. Now, I love a good action movie and this had a ton of really fun over the top scenes. But for some reason that wasn't enough for me this time. Maybe I had too many expectations.

I loved Grace (Mackenzie Davis). Who knew I had a type! I was glad Linda Hamilton was in it. She's never been the best actress, but combine that with awful dialog...

Arnold can't act either but he's made for the role of a robotic character. The "new" terminator was pretty cool. The metal skeleton and the covering can operate separately.

It is a big action movie so seeing the special effects on the big screen is fun but you might want to save your money for something else and catch Terminator: Dark Fate on DVD.

My husband gave it 3 1/2

I give it 2.75 "You never should have come back" Sheep
