Maverick trauma surgeon Ashton “Snow” Frost keeps the world at a distance, relying only on his three closest friends to keep him connected. But when a ghost from their past returns to Cincinnati, Snow stands to lose everyone he loves. Framed for murder and reeling from attacks on his friends, Snow is pushed to his breaking point.

Jude Torres won’t let the doc shatter. The paramedic has been attracted to the doctor since he first laid eyes on him at the hospital, even if the arrogant, solitary man doesn’t fit into any of his plans. One hot, reckless kiss shows that Snow isn’t who he appears to be. And one night together will never be enough. Jude will fight for the doc.

Fight to keep him whole. Fight to keep him safe. Fight to simply keep him.

What I love about this series is importance of the core group friendship. The series title: Unbreakable Bonds refers to the four best friends. In many romances, when someone from the original group/brotherhood finds love, the group plays a secondary role to the love story. But in this series, the friendship bond never gets pushed aside. It is as important and needed as the new love interest.

Another reason I'm loving this romantic suspense series is the strength of the suspense. There is a great balance between the romance and the action aspects. The external conflict doesn't feel like a plot device just to further the romance.

For Shatter the authors took: a great suspense story, an ERMERGERD sexy-alpha-male-getting-dominated romance, and a heart warming friendship story, and dropped them in a blender...creating a sexy smoothie with bite. Yum!

Okay, that is why I love this series. I'm not going to talk about the plot because there is an important tragic event. But I loved the dynamic between Snow and Jude and how it develops. I want to take little Geoffrey and give him a hug. He was just a blip in book one, but we get to see just a little bit more of him in Shatter and I'm hoping the poor little cupcake finds happiness by the end of the series.

Confession: there is one more reason I like this series...it is full of sexy men, and I happen to like that...especially when—

*Katie slaps tape across Sharon's mouth reminding her that this is a PG-13 site.*
Nothing to see here folks! Keeping moving and don't forget to buy the book!
*Katie drags a struggling Sharon who is still trying to her her point across by making lewd hand gestures*

I’m an author who loves unusual stories and I credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children.

She is the author of the Beri O’Dell urban fantasy series, the YA Sister of Fate Trilogy, and the paranormal romance Brothers Bernaux Trilogy. She also writes erotic fiction as Dani Worth. She can be found at RindaElliott.com. She’s represented by Miriam Kriss at the Irene Goodman Agency.

Love comes in many varied forms. There is the love of family, love of country, and love of chocolate. But for Jocelynn Drake, one truly treasured love is the love of a good story. This former Kentucky girl spends the majority of her time lost in the strong embrace of a good book. When she’s not hammering away at her keyboard, frowning at her monitor, or curled up with a book, she can usually be found cuddling with her cat Demona, walking her dog Max, or flinging curses at the TV while playing a video game. Outside of books, cats, and video games, she is completely enamored of Bruce Wayne, Ezio Auditore, travel, tattoos, explosions, fast cars, and Anthony Bourdain (but only when he’s feeling really cranky).

She is the author of the urban fantasy series: The Dark Days series and the Asylum Tales. She also occasionally writes as Joy Douglass when she’s in the mood for a little historical romance. She can be found at JocelynnDrake.com.
