Sheep Interview: Nalini Singh + Giveaway!

Today we welcome NYT Best Selling Author Nalini Singh to Sheep! I know, crazy right?! Honored to have this fine lady stop by. Make sure to stick around until the very end for your chance to win one her books! We hope you enjoy.

Katie: First I'd like to say a BIG thanks for taking the time to chat with us today. I am also a fangirl so pay no mind to my random squeals and paper bag breathing. That being said, you write some fantastic PNR sagas and since my favorite is the Psy/Changeling I have to ask what do we have in store for these characters?
Nalini: Hmm, there’s no way I can answer this without spoilers, so I’ll just say that lots and lots of interesting things are about to happen.

Katie: In the Guild Hunter saga there is one man that stands out for me. Maybe I like them dark and twisted but please dear undead gods tell me what can we look forward to with Venom?!
Nalini: He’s definitely an intriguing character, and he plays a role in ARCHANGEL’S STORM, so you’ll get to see him there. As for his future, we’ll see – I don’t want to write any of the characters stories until it is absolutely the RIGHT story, and for now, Venom is keeping his mouth shut about his (complete with a wicked smile of course).

Katie: I've found that something you read little about in the PNR world is merfolk. Would you or do you have an interest in writing about underwater people?
Nalini: Not merfolk no.

However, BlackSea is made up of water-based changelings, so a different kind of underwater story might happen.

Katie: If you had a theme song/music every time you walked into a room what would it be?
Nalini: Erm...let me think about this one ;-)

Katie: Desert Island. You and anyone you can think of trapped, alone. Past or present, real life or fiction. Who would it be and why?
Nalini: Probably Macguyver – he could build us a raft out of driftwood and a few coconuts, and then I’d be back to civilization and to hot chocolates and hot baths!

Sharon: Zombie Apocalypse. Which fictional character would like to have at your back? (you can’t have Optimus Prime cause he is mine )
Nalini: From my books, I think Jason would be very handy – he’s already proven himself capable of handling Lijuan’s reborn.

Outside my books, Scotty from Star Trek. You know why, right? Because he could beam me up and outa there!

Katie: If Sharon and I were to look through your home movie collection what would we find? Not that we would. *nervous laugh* Right Sharon. *more nervous laughter*
Nalini: Well, I may have given myself away with my above answer, but I love SF so I have things like Star Trek and Firefly. I also like murder mysteries, so Midsomer Murders stands alongside Sherlock Holmes and Poirot. Plus of course, there’s my collection of Bollywood favorites like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Dhoom 2. Oh and I can’t forget my dvds of BBC period dramas like Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion.

Now it's time for the ever loved and super famous Rapid Fire round! Hold on to your seat Nalini and answer with the first thing that pops up. Ready? Go!

Katie: Cotton tails or Kitten whiskers?
Kitten whiskers.

Sharon: 80s big hair bands or 80s pop bands?

Katie: Coke or Pepsi?

Sharon: Robocop or Rambo?
Robocop all the way.

Katie: Show me the money or Run, Forrest Run?
Run, Forrest, Run!

Katie: Sexy Front or Sexy Back?

Sharon: Enterprise or Millenium Falcon?

Katie: Pitch Black or Full Moon?

Sharon: I Dream of Jeanie or Bewitched?

Katie: Roses or Daisies?

Katie: Thanks for stopping by to chat with us today Nalini, where can folks find you in the coming weeks?
