Stevens, Juliana Stone, Jess Haines, are you dizzy yet?)

What you win:

First Place:

1. pick 3 of the featured authors books (must be authors you haven't read)
2. enough swag to choke a horse
3. a package of books/stationary supplies sent to a soldier in your name.

Second Place:

Author's After Dark Swag

I asked each author what would they be for Halloween if they had unlimited resources. Here are their answers:

a. Pink Flamingo
b. Jack Sparrow
c. Penny Wise (from It)
d. Belle (Beauty and the Beast- yellow ball gown)
e. Vampire Temptress (black leather outfit with huge mulit-colored dangle earrings)
f. Opera star Renee Fleming as Thais

Match the author to the costume! Hints are in the authors description below. Your answers should look like this: 1a, 2b, 3c, ect...

1. Jen Turner is offering a copy of Eternal Seduction from her Eternal Series. It is a very dark vampire series and the picture of her character vampire Stefan Nelek is one of my favorites. There is nothing funny about her costume and it won't be hard to figure out.

2. Nancy Holzner is offering a copy of Deadtown the first book in her Deadtown Series. The third book, Bloodstone, just released this month. She is busy with a blog tour, check out the stops! Her costume choice surprised me since she isn't one to sing her own praises because she ain't no diva!

3.
Caris Roane is offering a copy of Ascension, the first book in her Ascension series. She writes about tempting winged warrior vampires. She decided to pick a costume that reflects what she knows best.

4. Erin Quinn is offering a copy of Haunting Desire, the third book in her Mists of Ireland series. The fourth book, Haunting Embrace released earlier this month. Her covers have some beautiful men on them and magic within. Her costume choice is also beautiful and magical.

5. Pamela Palmer is offering a signed copy of Obsession Untamed from her Feral Warrior series. The 6th book in her series Ecstacy Untamed comes out Oct. 25th. Her choice of costume will tickle you pink when you guess it!

6. Linda Poitevin is offering a copy of her debut Urban Fantasy Sins of the Angels. She is currently on a blog tour. Check out her stops. Guessing who she would dress up as might be arrrrgravating, but if you think about it you will figure it out, savvy?

How to win:

1. play the game and put answers in comments (must have an email included for contacting winner)
2. answer this question:
What would you be for Halloween if money wasn't an issue?
*double entry for followers

***BLOG SHOUT OUT***

:( no shout out this month because I am a slacker...so I will be offering the second place prize. A small surprise mix of stuff from the Author's After Dark swagbag Nancy Holzner sent me.

Good luck to everyone!
Contest ends: October 17th at midnight

  1. If i could I would go all out. I love those houses that are completely decorated and look really scary. I would do that. I would also get an awesome costume. I would even get full sized candy bars. I remember as a kid I loved going to the houses that had them. Don't find people splurging on the full size bars anymore.

If money was of no issue, I think I would come out of Halloween retirement to homage to Stephen King with a costume made up of some of my favourite books. I think we'd start off with the blood soaked dress from Carrie, add some tire tracks to it to symbolize Christine, Vampire fangs for Salems Lot and maybe carry around a demonic cat doll for Pet Cemetery and a deranged looking St. Bernard doll for Cujo lol I don't know looks good in my head but may just be better to keep that idea locked away ;)

I always wanted to dress up in one of those big old fashion ball gowns. Like the one in Buffy the Vampire Slayer where she dressed up in one and everyone got stuck in their Halloween outfits and became what they dressed as. I always loved those dresses.
