The Blood Knight Chronicles by Linda Thomas-Sundstrom + giveaway

The Blood Knight Chronicles is reborn with a new twist on legends.
With best-selling author Linda Thomas-Sundstrom

Hi there, Sheepters. Happy Monday to you all. So glad you could join me here for a look at this new paranormal series that has, like its immortal main characters, just been reborn to ebooks and print.

This is a happy birthday celebration post for the first book release in a seven-book series titled The Blood Knight Chronicles. Take a peek at book 1…

GOLDEN VAMPIRE
Before we meet this book’s hunky immortal main character, here’s the scoop on the series.

The Blood Knight Chronicles (7 book series)
A long time ago, a group called the Seven was formed from seven of the best knights of the Round Table. These knights were offered immortality in order to protect a holy relic known as the Grail, which contains secretive powers best kept hidden from the masses.

Seven immortal knights, protectors of the Grail, will live through time until we find them now, in the current century…. in this series. Called “Blood Knights” because of the way they became immortal. Not vampires, though they do possess not only fangs, but longings for the kind of justice no mortal men could conceive of. Undefeated in battle. Unearthly gorgeous. If not exactly righteous, something close, with the will to protect humankind from monsters that lurk in the shadows of a modern world.

One Blood Knight per book in this series. Seven books.

First up: Lance VanBaaren. (You might recognize the name LANCE from legends surrounding the Round Table. Yep. He just might be that one).

Publisher: GothicScapes
When tough ex-cop Jesse Stewart finds him by accident while in Europe on a missing senator’s daughter case… and they meet face-to-face… both Lance and Jesse must reconcile the immediacy of their feelings of connection and either dig, tooth and nail, into a hidden past, or go down fighting for a just cause.

In the lead to this post, I used the term reborn. That’s because the first version of Golden Vampire was published by Harlequin’s Nocturne line in 2011. Now in the hands of GothicScapes, my author edition of this story sees the light. YAY !!!

Reborn. Like Lance and his six Blood Knight brethren, to face a new time.

Posted here is the original 2011 cover from Nocturne (which looked nothing like Lance). The new GothicScapes cover above captures Lance much as I envisioned him.

Golden Vampire was translated into several languages and remains a great and inspiring first book in this series that continues this October with Immortal Obsession.
I hope this reworking of legendary characters spikes your interest, as it spiked mine. I’m writing the sixth book about them now, and fall in love with each and every one for their looks, strengths, sense of honor, and even their flaws. I mean, when they love, they love forever!
More of these knights can currently also be found in the Nocturne line: check out Immortal Redeemed (Galahad) and Angel Unleashed there.

Look for more from the GothicScapes label in the future on all retail sites, and a few spin-offs as well.

Got questions? Leave them here. And maybe you’ll want to enter the birthday gift giveaway of a signed print version of one of the books in this series. Immortal Redeemed – also a “top pick” from trusted review sites.

Happy reading!
Leave a comment you can.
Cheers for now~
Linda

Book Review: Jonas (Darkness #7) by K.F. Breene

Jonas (Darkness #7) By: K.F. Breene
Paranormal Romance
133 pages

Plot:
Jonas isn't the kind of guy to submit to the expectations of others, even when his life is on the line. So when he wakes up in the cell of a dungeon with torture devices hanging on the wall, he can only think one thing: this should be fun. What he didn't expect, however, is the beautiful but broken female pitting herself against his resolve. For once, the pain of his past is shallow in comparison to another, and he wants nothing more than to extinguish her pain.

When Sasha realizes one of her own has been taken, the gloves come off. Using her ever-expanding resources of both human and non-human magic workers, she sets out to battle the most advanced, most experienced magic worker in the world. Regardless of being completely outmatched, Sasha and Stefan rush to Jonas' aid.

Jonas is one scary ass mofo. This male is absolutely no joke. He honestly scared the crap out of me for the first couple of stories. I didn't know if he was going to kill Sasha at any given moment. The dude's a ticking time bomb. Tick-tock! But saying all that, it's been fun to watch his character develop and evolve into more then what you thought.

This is where book 7, Jonas, comes into play. We get a nice little look into the workings of Jonas and his past pains that really helped shape the man you see now. Tons of interesting emotional tid-bits to nom on as this story rapidly unfolds.

My only big complaint, cause face it I complain just as well as the best of them, is Jonas was not the main focus of the story. A huge chunk of it is passed over to Sasha and the progress in her magical training and abilities. There's a big fight, with loss and heartache but I really wanted to see this whole story through Jonas perspective. He's a complex male! I was once again yearning for more pages to read!

So, I will continue to harass Mrs. Breene for MORE READING! These stories are way too short and by the time you dig in your reading roots and get invested, the book is coming to an end. Insert major sad face. :(

If you love PNR mixed with magic and steamy romance, then you want to continue this journey in the world of Darkness. Hop on board and get ready!

Sheep Book Review: Shadow Watcher (Darkness #6) by K.F. Breene

Shadow Watcher (Darkness #6)
by K.F. Breene
Paranormal Romance
122 Pages
In the wake of ridding their territory of a menace, Sasha has only one pressing duty left: find more human magic workers. And while it is undoubtedly important on some grand scale, the task is, in itself, surprisingly uneventful. That is, until a strange predator takes an interest in her and Charles on their trek home one evening. In the space of twenty-four hours Sasha's life goes from mundane to being stalked and threatened. A new shifter has moved into town, and if the whispered rumors are to be believed, something even more sinister is lurking behind, watching and waiting for the right moment to spring.

But that isn't the only element that turns Sasha's life upside down. She has one hell of a secret that will change her and Stefan's life forever.

As the plot says, it's one BIG secret she has! I loved this book, as I have with all the other books in this series so far. The characters continue to amaze and inspire me on so many different levels. The power of their devotion and loyalty is wonderful to reach, and yet it never goes over the top of belief. For a PNR you can actually and truly believe these characters are real!

It's some of the best PNR writing out there. No lie. I'm also not going to spoil anything in this story, which is really hard because a lot has happened!

A group of new characters are on the scene and I bet that's just the beginning of an upcoming plot twist. New witches are coming into the fold and lots of developments with the group Sasha has been training with. I only wish these stories were longer. You have to wait for the next bit and that's just too much emotional teasing for me!

Grab all these stories now and get to this point, it's worth it.

guest post: Violet Patterson’s Emerald Seer Series book tour

The Storm Sullivan Saga Boxed Set (Emerald Seer books #1-4)
It began with tragedy.
Continued with rebirth.

Faithful friends...with secrets of their own.

Intensified with an uncovered past.

How will it all END?
Storm Sullivan's life is a mystical mine field following the death of her Aunt Trin and it only gets worse. Thrown into the battle of the ages, Storm finds herself surrounded by Immortals, Seraphs, Fairies, Vampires, Witches and a Phoenix! Can she unravel the mysteries of her family's past in time to save them all?

For the first time ever, the Kindle Bestselling Emerald Seer Series is brought to you in one massive box set. Magic and mystery, adventure and romance converge in this series touted as "unique and imaginative." Mystical beings from Deities to Seraphs, a Phoenix, Immortals and more, the Emerald Seer Series is a fantastical ride with several converging story lines that will keep you guessing.

Storm Sullivan introduces herself:
Life was easier before. Sure I was little more than a glorified gypsy and maybe I spent more than my fair share of time hitching around cruise ships posing as a fortune teller but at least I was blissfully ignorant. I’m getting ahead of myself again. I tend to do that. I apologize. My head is a bit cloudy these days and I forget the little things like introductions especially since I rarely meet somebody who doesn't already know who I am. Not that I’m famous, I mean, I guess I am but not in the regular world. I’m not a movie star or anything. I’m Storm. Yes, that is my real name. Hilarious, I know. The irony is only apparent now that my life has imploded. My mother just liked The Doors and named me for her favorite song. Sad, but true. I prefer People Are Strange or Love Her Madly. Ah, Love Her Madly. Great lyrics. But then again, I am more of a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers fan. Walls. That’s a great little song. Dammit. I am getting off track again. I just can’t seem to get a handle on my thoughts or anything else for that matter. Who knew emotions could be so problematic? Then again, I didn’t really know I’d been without them until **bam** out of left field there they were. Emotions. Like real tears and rage and worst of all, passion.

I got ahead of myself again, didn’t I? Where to begin? I meant for this to be a bit of an introduction to my life, a little inside scoop on why you should read my whole story. At least that’s what Violet asked me to do. She should have done this, not me. She’s always been better at organizing the chaos that is my life into a nice linear story. But, Violet insisted I do this one on my own so I am. It all really started with the vision. Seers are not supposed to be able to see their own deaths. It has something to do with personal gain and nobody needing to know too much about their own future. So, aside from the mind trip of seeing my death at the ripe old age of seventeen, I had to worry about some other supernaturals finding out which would have led to me being locked up and treated as a test subject for the rest of my natural life. Still wondering why I ran? In my rather naïve mind I thought for sure there would be a way out, a way to change even my destiny. But destiny, it is a funny thing. As it turned out, that little vision of mine didn’t matter so much in the end. It was a part of something so much larger. At seventeen I couldn’t see it. Everything happened as it should have, or rather one of only two ways it could have.

I did it again, didn’t I? My story is complicated and I am not a storyteller. I’m still not sure how Violet made sense of the madness but she did. I would guess Ryder helped. Soph and Lucian surely chimed in. And, probably the guys, I mean, Dan and Shane, my guardian angels (don’t tell them I called them angels, they prefer Seraphs) and my best friends. I haven’t read it myself but I hear it’s pretty accurate, at least that’s what Angeline says. I’ll take her word for it. I think it would be weird to read about myself. I mean, I lived it and all.

Ryder On the Storm (Book #1)
Storm Sullivan is a Seer from an ancient line forced to return home after the brutal murder of her aunt. But Storm finds she’s inherited more than just the family estate.

Ryder Cohen is an Immortal, a former enforcer commissioned to eradicate the Sullivan line and prevent the rise of the Emerald. But Ryder has come to question his mission and the reasons behind it.

Ryder On the Storm is the first in the Emerald Seer series. An urban fantasy with a supporting cast of Immortals, Seraphs, and Deities this is just the beginning of Storm's journey.

Sheep Book Review: The Taker by Alma Katsu

The Taker, by Alma Katsu, is a PNR for readers who like some good old-fashioned storytelling mixed in with the darker side of life. And oh my my does this book take on the darkness!

Plot:
True love can last an eternity...Have you ever loved someone so much that you'd do anything for them? When Dr Luke Findley turns up to his hospital shift in the small town of St Andrews, Maine, he's expecting just another evening of minor injuries and domestic disputes. But instead, Lanore McIlvrae walks into his life - and changes it forever. For Lanny is a woman with a past...Lanny McIlvrae is unlike anyone Luke has ever met. Hers is a story of love and betrayal that defies time and transcends mortality - and cannot end until Lanny's demons are finally put to rest. Her two hundred years on this earth have seen her seduced by both decadence and brutality - but through it all she has stayed true to the one true love of her life. Until now. An unforgettable novel about the power of unrequited love to elevate and sustain, but also to blind and ultimately destroy, "The Taker" is an immortal love story on an epic scale...

The Taker
starts out in the cold, East Coast town of St. Andrews in the present day. We follow the lonely life of Luke, the small town doctor, and a night shift that might change his entire life. Luke is immediately drawn to the young woman Lanny, but with the cops trying to pin murder charges on her Luke has to make some hard decisions and possibly ruin not only his life but his career as well. It's a high risk gamble but one that could end up being the most life changing event! What will he do?!

What I liked the most about this story was the fact that the author takes the time to tell her story. It's like when you watch a well-written film for the dialog and character interaction, rather than the bang-bang and special effects. As the story continues into the history of St. Andrews you get to totally immerse yourself in the hard life our early settlers faced in the snow-covered lands close to Canada. The perfect amount of time is used to get the reader to feel as though they have become a part of that time, the people, and the family life that was so different. I was never bored in these moments and truly enjoyed them.

One of the major downfalls though was the present day interaction between Lanny and Luke. I never understood it and frankly wish this was either taken out or written completely different. Luke never strikes me as the type of guy to jump through so many hoops nor do or say all the things he does over the course of the book. In fact I would go so far as to say he was "Luke warm". (Get it? Pun usage. Point for me!) I am trying to keep this review spoiler-free but if you've already read this and would like to know my point of facts please feel free to email me privately.

Aside from the present-day nonsense, the story does have a very dark and twisted element; you should be aware this includes suicide, rape, kidnapping, murder and physical abuse towards women. I had to skim over a couple of pages, so make sure to put your big girl pants on before diving into this one. It's dark and twisted, but hopefully a message can be gained from the experience. If nothing else...never get in the car with strangers.

The next edition to this saga, The Reckoning, hits shelves June 19th 2012.

Sheep Review: Darkness Awakened by Stephanie Rowe

Darkness Awakened
(Order of the Blade: Primal Heat Trilogy #1)

The Calydons are a race of ancient immortals cursed with a dark side. Each Calydon is destined to meet his soul mate, to be so drawn to her that he is unable to resist bonding with her through the rituals of his race...

...but their destiny is to destroy each other and all they care about the moment their bond is complete.

Quinn Masters will stop at nothing to rescue his rogue teammate. To save his blood brother and ensure his brand of justice triumphs, Quinn will break every rule of his kind and partner with the sensuous, courageous woman destined to be his ultimate destruction.

Haunted by a brutal past, Illusionist Grace Matthews will risk everything to save her kidnapped sister, including putting her life in the sinfully capable hands of an immortal warrior whose ravaging kisses and intense passion propel her ruthlessly toward a fateful destiny she can't afford to believe in.

I have always been a fan of Stephanie Rowe’s writing. She really knows how put emotions into words and when it comes to smexy immortal warriors; Winning! Most of her writing is humorous and light hearted, but she has taken a walk on the darker side of PNR with her Order of the Blade series and I am so glad I followed her.

Here is a little about the mythos Rowe created:

The series revolves around a race of immortal warriors called Calydons, who were created thousands of years ago from violence and they are all destined to die by violence because they were cursed to meet their sheva -fated mate. Once bonded, the Calydon warrior would go rogue and enter a murderous rampage. The sheva and Calydon would end up destroying everything they loved, including each other. To protect the human world from rogue Calydons The Order of the Blade, and elite group of Calydons, was created. The Order kills rogues, even if he was a former friend, and any Otherworld creatures that posed a threat to humanity. My favorite thing about the Calydon warrior is they each have a tattoo on their forearms of their weapon. When they call them out there is a flash of black light and a loud “crack” as they slam into their hands. After throwing the weapon it will fly back to their hands if they call it but if they don’t, it will disappear after a few moments. No one can wield the weapon, but the owner. For some reason I find this sexy as hell!

This is a PNR so each book in the series will focus on one of the warriors and his sheva as well as putting into motion the events for the next book, but there is an intense and action-packed overall story arc as well. You can read each book as a stand-alone, but it would be best to start with Darkness Awakened.

The Order of the Blade members are as tortured and brooding alpha-males as they come. Since order members are so important and not easily replaced, they don’t kill each other if they meet their shevas. Instead, they kill the woman for the greater good of the world. Darkness Awakened focuses on the order member Quinn and his sheva, Grace. Grace is an illusionist, and they are hunted and killed because they only created dark and deadly illusions. Grace’s are so strong they can actually cause physical damage and death to the target, including herself. She has spent her whole life keeping the power under control so no one would know. But when her sister is kidnapped by a power-hungry Calydon who wants to free the creator of the Calydon race, she has to seek out Quinn, one of the most powerful Order members. The story is full of intense passion as Grace and Quinn try to fight the bond so they can save her sister as well as avenge the deaths of two Order members. Page-turning action and sexually frustrated immortal warriors make this a fun read. Our couple gets their HEA, but there are more Order members who need to find theirs.

Here is a look at the book #2  Darkness Seduced

Immortal warrior Gideon Roarke made an oath five hundred years ago to the woman who died for him. The ancient Calydon is ruthless in his quest to honor that promise, even if it means risking everything by teaming up with the one woman who will either destroy him, or finally bring redemption to his blackened, hardened soul.
After escaping from a two-year imprisonment at the hands of a madman, the only thing Lily Davenport wants is to go home and reclaim her life. Unfortunately for Lily, standing between her and that goal is a sensual, demanding protector whose dangerous seduction threatens to claim her life…and her soul.
The Calydons Destiny: The Calydons are a race of ancient immortals cursed with a dark side. Each Calydon is destined to meet his soul mate, to be so drawn to her that he is unable to resist bonding with her through the rituals of his race...
...but their destiny is to destroy each other and all they care about the moment their bond is complete.

Stephanie Rowe Interview + Give away

Make sure you play Stephanie's theme music (above player)

Ready to talk about smexy tortured warriors? Stephanie Rowe is an expert on them and she is here, now! to talk about the newest release in her Soul Fire Series- Hold Me If You Can. Hang around till the end for a chance to win a copy of this tasty book!

Boston, MA. Art museum. 2 Sheep. 1 master of the smexy meet...

Sharon: Hello Stephanie and welcome to I Smell Sheep *hands over a tray of moon pies and Cherry Kool-Aid*
Katie: Help yourself, come on don’t be shy!

Stephanie: Oh… how many moon pies can I have? Those look really good. Are they homemade? Thanks for having me. I'm so excited to be here.
Sharon: We prefer our junk food with preservatives. These babies are 100% store bought!
Stephanie: Oh, those are the best! I'm all in with the store bought!

Sharon: Let’s talk tortured smexy immortal warriors <G>. The third book in your Soul Fire series Hold Me If You Can just released on Jan 1st. Can you tell our readers who aren’t familiar with your series a little about it?

Stephanie: The Soulfire series is about a team of immortal warriors who have recently escaped from the Den of Womanly Pursuits, after 150 of torture and sensitivity training by Death's grandma. These hardened survivors can, much to their dismay, wield a pair of knitting needles as well as they can vanquish a demon with a sword. Not that they will admit that. Ever. Denial only goes so far, however… If a man's got a talent with a curling iron, he can hide it for only so long…

In HOLD ME IF YOU CAN, book three, Nigel Aquarian is the only warrior who's entirely at peace with his softer side. Give him a sketch pad and some markers, and he's happy. But those that giveth taketh away, and Nigel suddenly finds that his art has become deadly to those he loves. Without his art, Nigel has no outlet for his darker side. He has to find a way to regain control before he kills everyone he loves, and the only woman who can help him is Natalie Fleming, a passionate woman with a talent for chocolate, demons and maybe, just maybe, his salvation. If, of course, they don't kill each other first.

Sharon: Your heroes are always so “swoon” worthy. When I first read this I saw “chocolate demons” and thought “I wanna a bite of one of those!” ;)
Katie: Come now, Sharon! We’re much more civilized then that! We shall nibble softly on them. Someone please tell me why I said all that in an English accent?!
Stephanie: What? We're supposed to be civilized? No one told me that!

Katie: I’m unfortunately not as familiar with your books as Sharon is but I am VERY interested in these smexy immortals! Who’s single still and would they like a short hot blonde? Not for me of course…my friend the OTHER short hot blonde. *Winks*
Stephanie: Hey, I'm a short hot blonde too! Don't I get to pick one? Actually, you've inspired me that book #5 will be about a smexy, tortured warrior who falls madly in love with a short, hot blonde named…Katephanie. How does that sound? Since Christian's story is coming out this summer and I've already got his woman picked out, I'm thinking it will need to be Pasquale who will be lucky enough to have us. There's nothing like a cheeky warrior who refuses to get down on the misery of 150 years of torture to make a girl swoon while he's battling demons to save her life, don't you think?
Sharon: Um…excuse me?! Did we forget someone! <G>
Katie: lol Don’t be jealous Sharon.
Stephanie: My dear Sharon, fear not. I have a very special tortured warrior in store for you. Tall, muscular, wields a sword with deadly accuracy and in desperate need of a good woman to love, honor and take to the highest heavens. You game?
Sharon: Well, if you insist...;)

Sharon: I’ve read the second book Touch If You Dare, and it was fabulous! I really enjoyed the fast paced action and the witty dialogue. Does the snarkiness come natural for you?

Stephanie: It depends on my mood. I can definitely be a little snarky and a bit of a troublemaker when the urge strikes.

Sharon: What is it about Nigel Aquarian, the hero in Hold Me If You Can, that will have me swooning for his touch?
Stephanie: Nigel is a total bad ass who can decimate the bad guys within in seconds, but in his heart, he likes nothing more than to tap into his artistic side and pour all his inner tenderness into paints of those he loves. He's the man who will write you poetry at the same time he's slaying demons for you, and he'll turn love making into the most beautiful experience ever, because he's not afraid to tap into the side of him that is about beauty, love and harmony and to shower his woman with all that tenderness.
*Sharon becomes a puddle*
*Katie grabs a bucket to mop Sharon into*
Stephanie: Sharon, try writing about him. It's almost impossible not to melt into a pile of goo!

Katie: Have you personally ever swooned for someone’s touch? And if so we want DETAILS!

Stephanie: I swoon often and frequently. Why wouldn't I? There's nothing like the feel of a man's hands stroking over your shoulder, down your arm and… excuse me. I need to go take a cold shower.
Sharon: *taps foot and gives Katie the evil eye* always causing trouble…
Katie: *makes innocent eyes* Who me? Never. Now I say we all head out and find some swoon worthy men to pant over!
Stephanie: I'm in! What do you say…three men for each of us? Do you think that will be enough?
Sharon: there is only one way to find out!

Sharon: It seems the cover fairy has been very good to you! Do you think the covers portray your warrior heroes well?

Stephanie: The cover fairy has been my very best friend. I adore these covers. They are perfect portrayals of my warrior heroes: hot, sexy, dangerous with a hint of their paranormal powers… oh, yes. Yes, yes, yes. *fans herself vigorously*
Sharon: *turns on fan* Katie was smart to install this.
Katie: Always be prepared.
Stephanie: I have six installed in my office.
Sharon: you win! ;)

Sharon: This isn’t your only paranormal romance series. You also have 4 books in the Immortally Sexy Series. How is this series different from the Soul Fire series?
Katie: Can I just add that I love how you put it right out there with the sexy bit! Up front folks these guys/gals are sexy!

Stephanie: Both series have a high-octane, satirical feel, but the Soulfire series is a little bit darker and emotionally intense. I would say the Immortally Sexy series is a little more playful than this one, though, as a writer, I used the same no-holds-barred playful mindset when I wrote both series. And thanks, Katie! Sexy is good, and the world should know it!
Katie: I feel like there’s a song we should start singing now….
wiggle,wiggle,wiggle,wiggle,wiggle, Yeah!
Stephanie: Sing, Katie, sing!
*Sharon covers ears*

Sharon: Do you have a book or character that has a special place in your heart?

Stephanie: Honestly, I fall in love with whatever story I'm writing in that moment. I become so engrossed in the lives of my characters that I literally feel every emotion they have. I root for them, I cheer for them, and I cry with them.
Sharon: I think you left out an emotion Stephanie…;)
Stephanie: Um… I don't think I should mention that one in a public forum, Naughty Sharon.
Sharon: You are right. *psst...we'll talk later*

Sharon: If you could pick a theme song to play when you entered a room what would it be?

Stephanie: Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. I've actually had a pretty rough go of things the last few years, and that's been my theme song to pump me up and decide to take control instead of wallowing around in victim mode. Nothing changes until you change your attitude!
Katie: Yup! That’s the song!
Stephanie: Gets me every time!

Katie: If you could spend an evening with anyone from the past or present, fiction and non who would it be and why?

Stephanie: Dale Carnegie. I just finished reading his book, "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living," and it has been a huge life-changer for me. I can make myself crazy worrying about things (big and small), and this book has really helped me chill out and figure out how to feel emotional relief (and even happiness) no matter what's going on around me. I'd love to sit down with him and talk to him for real about all his learnings and expertise on that topic. It's really a brilliant book.
Katie: Sounds like it made a big impact on your life, I’ll be sure to give it a read.
Stephanie: Why didn't Sharon chime in here? Hello? Do you think you're too good for Dale? He's kind of smexy too, in a geeky kind of way.
Sharon: okay, went and checked him out. It is great how something written that long ago can still ring true today.

Sharon: You have recently made a move to self-publishing. Why and are you glad you did?

Stephanie: I am still in the early stages of this new venture, but so far I am really loving the autonomy of it. I have the freedom to truly tap into my creative side without being bound by the rules and demands of others. At first, I was a little worried that I was doing the wrong thing (there's that "worry " thing again), but as I get further involved in it, I can feel myself coming alive creatively and professionally in a way that I've never experienced. I'm so excited to see what the next year brings and to see the changes that freedom will bring to my writing.

Katie: If you got stranded on a desert island what are the three things you would not be able to live without?
Sharon: I would think tortured smexy warriors qualify, just saying…

Stephanie: Oh, yes, Sharon, I agree. The three things I would need: (1) A tortured smexy warrior who cherished, loved (in all ways ;-)) and adored me. (2) lots of delicious food that appears whenever I'm hungry without me having to prepare it (3) a really comfortable bed. For sleeping. Uh, huh.
Katie: I like you Stephanie. My kind of gal.
Stephanie: I like you, too, Katie. Let's go eat some chocolate together. Sharon? Will you come with us and bring the moon pies?
Sharon: If you are waiting on me, you are going backwards!

We interrupt this interview for a chocolate break ...
we now return you to the interview already in progress

Sharon: Finish this sentence: People think I am weird because... (don’t be shy, we won’t laugh, until you leave <G>)

Stephanie: I dance and sing in the aisles of the grocery store with reckless abandon just to make my daughter laugh.
Sharon: so that was you I saw last week?! <G>
Stephanie: I'm a good dancer, aren't I? We call it the "I'm a hot tamale dance." I get at least a date per week out of it.
Sharon: I see a "how to" book in this <G>

Sharon: What shampoo do you use? (bet you never got asked that one!)

Stephanie: I used to use Goldwell, but they changed their ingredients and added one I'm allergic to, so I tried a new one called Living Proof. It seems to work really well, but I'm not a huge fan of the fragrance. We shall see… I'm allergic to an ingredient that's in most shampoos, so my choices are somewhat limited.
Sharon: oh, I think that would have qualified for the weird question…being allergic shampoo…<G>

Time to play our favorite Rapid Fire round! Fasten your seat belt and hang!

Sharon: Coke or Pepsi
Stephanie: Diet Caffeine-free Coke
*Sharon just died a little inside*
Katie: Hahaha Coke for the win yet again!
Stephanie: But I will drink Pepsi, too, of course. My favorite, however, is rootbeer. But you didn't ask about that. Poor rootbeer. It feels so left out.

Katie: Sweet potato fries or French
Stephanie: French, for sure.

Sharon: surf or turf
Stephanie: I like them both! Bring 'em on

Katie: Beauty or Beast
Stephanie: Beast.
Sharon: growl…;)
Stephanie: Manly beasts are good.
Sharon: and tasty!

Sharon: fangs or claws
Stephanie: Fangs.
Katie: So sexy.

Katie: Sexy Carpenter or Sexy Fireman
Stephanie: Fireman.
Sharon: what she is really asking is hammer or hose ;)
Katie: LOL! Busted.
Stephanie: I'm not sure I understand the question. *innocent blink.*

Sharon: leather or lace
Stephanie: For me? Lace. For him? Leather.
Sharon: nice answer. 10 coolness points for you!
Stephanie: Rock on, girlfriend!

Katie: Sexy heel or Sexy flat
Stephanie: Sexy heel once my plantar fasciitis heals. At the moment, it's sexy flat all the way. Or even not-so-sexy sneakers.
Katie: I rock sneakers daily, we make them sexy.
Stephanie: It's all in the attitude.

Sharon: waxed man titty or au natural
Stephanie: Chest hair is sexy.
Sharon: can be, but there is a line that no man should cross
Katie: *shudders*

Katie: Fireplace or Hot tub
Stephanie: Fireplace for sure. Hot tubs are a little tricky in real life.
*Sharon glares at Katie* Don’t you DARE ask…
Katie: *zips lips*
Stephanie: Some secrets will never be told…

Sharon: rollercoaster or merry-go-round
Stephanie: Merry go round. Roller coasters scare me. A lot.

Katie: Thanks so much for stopping by to chat with us Stephanie would you like to add anything before we wrap up?

Stephanie: I just would love to say thank you for having me! And next time, share the moon pies. I can't believe Sharon ate them ALL.
Sharon: *mumbles with mouthful*
Katie: They are addictive! Thank you for coming by Stephanie we look forward to everything you have in store for 2012.
Stephanie: Thanks, ladies! It's a pleasure to hang with you and talk about swooning, hairy chests and warriors. What more could a girl ask for?
Sharon: was that rhetorical? cause if you really want to know...*Katie stuffs Moon Pie into Sharon's mouth*
