Sheep Book Review: Braving the Elements by K.f. Breene

Braving the Elements
(Darkness #2)
By: K.f Breene
Paranormal Romance
Pages: 181

The first book in this series, Into the Darkness, is free!

Plot:

Sasha has always known she was different, but now she also knows that the shadow men she’s seen all her life, are real.

With a life goal of fitting in, Sasha hopes her strange abilities will finally make true friendship a possibility. Unfortunately, her magic doesn’t function like everyone else’s. What she thought would make her belong, sets her apart now more than ever.

Stefan, all but promised to a different woman, has tried to keep his mind on his duties instead of the irresistible and free-spirited human. But when she is threatened, he can’t keep his distance any longer. He realizes he’ll stop at nothing to keep her safe, and more importantly, make her his.

Just when one thing clicks into place, another spirals out of control. Stefan’s clan isn’t the only group that would benefit from an extremely rare type of magic. And their enemies will stop at nothing to get what they want.

This fantastic PNR series continues to build it's momentum with each new edition! What a fantastic world of colorful wonder and creative magic, all mixed up to a vampire sexual beat. These men can thump away on my sex drum any day, just saying. I'm completely hooked, an addicted blood slave and can't wait for the next story!

Our leading lady Sasha has now realized, she needs to learn how to control the magic boiling inside her. If not, she could max out the mojo and go supernova. No good. But faced with immortals who want to keep her on a tight leash, she's clawing her way out of a box. With each turn Sasha is fighting for her right to be seen as an equal. Not easy in this powerful world.

I'm not afraid to admit, I straight up cried reading this book. Sasha struggles constantly with feelings of self worth and I got it. I understood the pain and everything that took her up to that volcanic point. I was in that emotional space with her, every word on the page slayed me. Amazing writing!

Dollop on top the sexual tension that builds between Stefan aka orgasm donor and Sasha, things are getting GOOD! Late night fun parities and alpha male craziness heat it up big time! Doors better watch out!

PNR at it's finest, you can not find it's equal though I dare you to try!

  1. A nice review! I read Into the Darkness and was not impressed. The covers for this series are hot and attractive. I might give Braving the Elements a try some day.
