Sheep Movie Review: The Neighbors

The Neighbors
Directed by: Nick Stoller
Staring: Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, Zac Efron and Dave Franco
Rated: R

Plot:
Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne lead the cast of Neighbors, a comedy about a young couple suffering from arrested development who are forced to live next to a fraternity house after the birth of their newborn baby.

Raunchy comedy is quickly becoming the new norm. Those that are faint of heart or easily grossed out should steer clear of this one. This is a very sexual comedy with boobies and wennies floating around the screen. Scared to send your kid off to college? Yeah, maybe those folks should not see this one. Hopefully, everyone understands it's just a movie!

As for the story itself, I was overall entertained. Seth and Rose have a wonderful back and forth dialog nature that plays very well in giving a natural and realistic feeling to this awkward couple. As someone in the same age bracket, I found myself completely understanding many of these situations.

While the kids next door do a great job of shacking up the block. It's a drug induced party sure to get wild in no time flat!

For the price of the ticket, this comedy is worth it. If you're still not sold, here's just a small taste of what's in store....

  3. Although I sure can appreciate the shirtless Zac, I don;t think this movie is for me. I am so past the age of "Porky's" and "Revenge of the Nerd" like movies.
