ReplyDeleteI am very proud to be a book nerd! I always have a book &/or my Kindle with me. My nieces are always calling me a nerd for reading but I don't care. I also would probably be considered a music nerd (know way too many songs and can name them/who sings them after just a couple of notes). I also love history, science, ...... Just a big ole nerd!
ReplyDeletea berd is obviously like a super nerd, right? ;)
ReplyDeleteI did not know about towel day OR the terry pratchet day (I am reading Pyramids by him right now, LOL!) so this was quite informative! I am proud to be a nerd over many things, mainly sci-fi, fantasy and anime related ;)

ReplyDeleteI grew up in the 50's, reading comic books, Tom Swift Jr., and had the first computers, Atari 400, Commodore, then went on to sell accessories for them to the retail stores. I was also a band geek. I played trumpet in the school marching band.
ReplyDeleteI was a geek before it was a word.
I'm proud to be a nerd - I love books and my favorite thing as a kid and young adult was to read comic books. I passed that love on to my son, who still reads them and fills me in on what's going on. :D

I'm proud to be a nerd, the most social I get is usually the internet but that way people don't have to see my ugly mug and that's the way I like it. Although I may say I am more of a geek and I will not conform to what others perceive a 'normal'.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't like the facebook group on the rafflecopter as it says 'Could not retrieve the specified page. Please verify correct href was passed in.'
DeleteI've now found I'm in that group anyway but if other aren't and they try they might not be able to join.
