Readers get to vote on Alethea Kontis's new YA cover!

4/2/13-
This post was a fun prank Alethea played on April 1st, but guess what? She is now asking you to spoof her cover! Head to her website to get all the details on the contest and see some of the cool covers already created.

Y.A. author Alethea Kontis has a wonderful fairy tale series called The Woodcutter series. Book 1 Enchanted released last year. This fall book 2 Hero will release.

Unfortunately there was a legal issue with the new cover of Hero. Alethia had two alternative covers that were created by fans. She wants the readers to vote on which of her two back-up covers will be the new one!

Make sure to vote below for your favorite!

Cover #1 by fan Tara Fall
Rough and tumble Saturday Woodcutter thinks she’s the only one of her sisters without any magic—until the day she accidentally conjures an ocean in the backyard. With her sword in tow, Saturday sets sail on a pirate ship, only to find herself kidnapped and whisked off to the top of the world. Is Saturday powerful enough to kill the mountain witch who holds her captive and save the world from sure destruction? And, as she wonders grumpily, “Did romance have to be part of the adventure?” As inEnchanted, readers will revel in the fragments of fairy tales that embellish this action-packed story of adventure and, yes, romance.
