Katie: As we are both from the Bay Area, how many vampires have you found lurking about the city late at night? The fog really is the best backdrop!
Celia: LOL, well I’ve actually found quite a few. You can meet them in my vampire series, Tranquilli Bloodline.
Katie: I was actually quite hopeful we could take some sexy ones down to chambers…for uh…."questioning". *wink, wink*
Celia: Certainly! Allow me to recommend Alexander and Fineas. But not at the same time as those men do not get along. I took them on an interview once along with Carina, and only her presence helped us avoid a vampire smackdown.
Sharon: I'd paid money to see that!
Sharon: Can you tell readers about the Black Hills Wolves Series and Diamond Moon?
Celia: Diamond Moon is the twelfth book released in Decadent Pub’s multi-author series (website), and the first of three I have planned for the series. The series is set in The Black Hills of South Dakota. Much of the action happens in or around the small shifter town of Los Lobos. The Tao pack owns the area--the pack itself is fractured but on the mend after the death of its crazed and cruel Alpha.
Diamond Moon stars Ross, a Dominant Wolf, and his love-interest Darci, a human-wolf hybrid. Darci journeys to Los Lobos seeking help with her life-threatening shifts. She lands on Ross’s doorstep, romantic sparks fly, and… read the story to find out what happens next... :-)
Sharon: Why the switch from your vampires (The Tranquilli Bloodline series) to werewolves?
Celia: Actually no switch here. I’m writing both. Am currently editing the second werewolf story, writing the third, and also working on the third vampire novel, entitled Origins. Destiny, the second novel in the vampire series, also features a fun pack of Scottish wolves.
Sharon: *thinking of what a Scottish werewolf wears under his…* Please tell me they wear kilts <G>.
Celia: Not in Destiny. But I assure you -- those mountains of manly goodness look mega hot in blue jeans!
Sharon: *now thinking of jeans and manly goodness*
Katie: If you had a big ass boat, what would you name it?
Celia: A boat, eh? I get horribly sea sick, so a boat is definitely not on my must-have list, LOL. Okay, but if I did…let’s call it “Serenity,” in homage to Joss Whedon. Hm, now that I think about it, if I had a fleet of boats we could do “Dollhouse,” “Buffy,” “Angel,” “Firefly,” etc.
Sharon: That would be an awesome fleet of boats! And each boat could be decorated in the theme of the show…now let’s make them cruise ships and sell tickets! Whedon Fantasy Cruises…*Sharon runs to dungeon to make some calls*
Celia: Yes! For that, I’d brave the sea sickness!
Sharon: Which Joss Whedon character would you most like to hang with?
Celia: Spike! Love. Him.
Sharon: fan of the anti-hero? Or do you prefer straight up heroes?
Celia: Both!
Sharon: talk about extreme multi-tasking *thinking about multi-tasking—* OUCH!
Katie: Get your mind out of the gutter, or make room for me.
Sharon: You're into physical fitness, what are a few of the best exercises to do that give the best return on your investment? And do any of them involve brownies and Netflix?
Celia: Alas, no brownies are involved in my boot-camp style workouts. My favorite exercises that target multiple muscle groups: squats and lunges for the legs, push-ups and plank for the upper body/core.
Sharon: So if I’m hearing this correctly…brownies and Netflix are a no go? Are you sure?
Celia: Yes, Sharon. But you may treat yourself after you’ve kicked some serious workout butt! ;-)
Sharon: This is the year of the sheep and we are asking authors how sheep have made a difference in their lives.
Celia: I’m allergic to cow dairy, but thanks to sheep’s milk, I can still eat cheese. Thank you, sheep!
Katie: What's the coolest thing you own?
Celia: Cats. Cats are cool.
Sharon: You favorite French saying…
Celia: Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
Sharon: Do you remember your first romance read?
Celia: I don’t remember the title, but I was a kid and it was one of my mother’s Harlequin romances that I snuck off her bookshelf.
Rapid Fire: pew-pew!
Sharon: pickles or onions?
Celia: Onions

Sharon: Coke or Pepsi? (and yes, you have to pick one <G>)
Celia: Pepsi.
Celia: Pepsi.
Sharon: *Does the happy dance*
Celia: Ha. Of course, I haven’t actually had a Pepsi (or Coke) in years. My go-to beverage is water. Yep. You read that right. ;-)

Sharon: um...still a win for Pepsi! My oldest daughter is like that...don't know where I went wrong... <G>
Sharon: vampire biter or vampire bitten?
Celia: Biter.
Sharon: dirty cowboy or sexy CEO?
Celia: Sexy CEO
Sharon: Victor Hugo or Pierre Chardelos de Laclos?
Celia: Baudelaire! Oh wait, he wasn’t a choice… Hugo. ;-)

Celia: French poet. Trippy poetry. He’s most well-known for Les Fleurs du Mal (Flowers of Evil), though I also dig his prose poems in Le Spleen de Paris. Okay, taking off my French Lit Geek hat now… ;-)
