10 Reasons You Need to Read Shatter
Shatter is the second book in the Unbreakable Bonds series, focusing on maverick trauma surgeon Dr. Ashton “Snow” Frost as he tries to track down a ghost from his past returned to wreak havoc in his life. The book was released on April 26 and to celebrate, I thought I’d give a quick list of reasons why you need this book right now.
1. Snow — Poor broken, damaged, bossy, and super sexy Dr. Frost. He’s a gifted surgeon who is used to stepping in and taking charge. But this doctor with a dark past needs someone to stand up to him and take charge. When he finds that someone… fireworks.
2. Jude — A sweet man who almost immediately realizes that he’s in over his head when he starts running with the Unbreakable Bonds boys. Can he learn to keep up if he plans to catch Snow?
3. The collar cam — Some of the boys are sneaking into dangerous territory and they have a miniature camera to capture the evidence. Oh… the possibilities…
4. Fun with antibiotic ointment — Yeah, that stuff has more uses than you might expect.
5. A whirlwind tour of Cincinnati — The boys are running through some new territory on both sides of the Ohio River. Take a crash course with a former Cincinnatian. The Queen City is not to be missed.
6. Geoffrey — The sexy young man made of hands is back and his sights remain locked on Snow.
7. The body count is rising — The body count spikes in Shatter and the grim reaper strikes close to home.
8. A look into the past — Snow finally reveals big chunks of the past that he’s been running from, giving good reasons as to why he’s become the man that he is.
9. Lucas and Andrei — Time has passed since the close of Shiver, book one of the Unbreakable Bonds series. Can these two stubborn men actually make a relationship work? Check in with bossy Lucas and his former bodyguard Andrei.

Rinda Elliott
I’m an author who loves unusual stories and I credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children.
She is the author of the Beri O’Dell urban fantasy series, the YA Sister of Fate Trilogy, and the paranormal romance Brothers Bernaux Trilogy. She also writes erotic fiction as Dani Worth. She can be found at RindaElliott.com. She’s represented by Miriam Kriss at the Irene Goodman Agency.

Love comes in many varied forms. There is the love of family, love of country, and love of chocolate. But for Jocelynn Drake, one truly treasured love is the love of a good story. This former Kentucky girl spends the majority of her time lost in the strong embrace of a good book. When she’s not hammering away at her keyboard, frowning at her monitor, or curled up with a book, she can usually be found cuddling with her cat Demona, walking her dog Max, or flinging curses at the TV while playing a video game. Outside of books, cats, and video games, she is completely enamored of Bruce Wayne, Ezio Auditore, travel, tattoos, explosions, fast cars, and Anthony Bourdain (but only when he’s feeling really cranky).
She is the author of the urban fantasy series: The Dark Days series and the Asylum Tales. She also occasionally writes as Joy Douglass when she’s in the mood for a little historical romance. She can be found at JocelynnDrake.com.
