Alien In The Family, my Coke sista is back!

Alien In The Family, by author Gini Koch, is the third book in her amazingly fun series. Hold on tight, 'cause Kitty and Martini are back baby; let the Alien roller-coaster of thrills begin! Arms and legs inside the ride at all times people and don't exit until we come to a full and complete stop. ;)

Plot:
Super-Being Exterminator Kitty Katt and the Alpha Centaurian she loves, Jeff Martini, should be finalizing their wedding plans. But that was before she discovered Jeff is in line to become Emperor back on his home planet. Kitty knows she is everything a royal family wouldn't approve of, and is bracing herself for the worst. As it turns out, the royal family is just the beginning of her worries. Soon enough, extraterrestrial Amazonian terrorists are determined to start and end Kitty and Jeff's nuptial festivities with a bang.

Kitty is an awesome COKE drinking, butt kicking, Aerosmith lovin', witty gal who enjoys a good romp in the sack with her man when not kicking alien butt. It's a pop culture riot that I just can't put down! I love the snappy dialog between Kitty and her team of Alpha men. They crack me up non-stop. Snarky much? Jeff Martini is any woman's dream come true, but sometimes he tends to be a bit too jealous for my tastes. Protective streak aside, he is an honest guy who just can't lie. No really, he can't lie. lol. It's fast paced and high energy finger licking fun that anyone can enjoy.

As you can tell, from the cover and plot description, the royal wedding dominates the back half of this novel. Not Kate and William's of course, no no this wedding is going down a much different path. If you enjoy reading about weddings you will love this book. Gini gives the reader a first-hand account of the wedding and a comprehensive play by play. Normally I would not be this into it, but with Kitty and Jeff I loved it.

Alien in the Family comes with so many twists and turns, you never know what's going to happen next. It can be a bit confusing if you're not used to Gini's writing style, so I would recommend this book for those of you who are already fans. For those of you new to Gini, I say start at the beginning and don't jump in here. You need to get used to the characters and their humor or you may not get the full effect. And you WANT the full effect! Just my advice. :)

I'm looking forward to seeing where things end up with Chuckie and Christopher...maybe some lady loves for them on the horizon? Hope so!
